HORRIBLE PEOPLE!!!!!!!! MY BROTHER IN LAW TOOK HIS BABY!!!!! She was 9 years old and having puppies! He couldn’t afford 3,500 for a c section and they put her to sleep!!!! They wouldn’t even do a payment arrangement!!!! SHE WAS HIS WORLD!!!!!!! She accidentally got pregnant and she as his entire world. He’s heart broken and lost his baby! How could a place not do a payment arrangement when it comes to this?! I can’t imagine!!!!!! Very unprofessional and unbelievable!!!! His heart is broken. He lost his baby!!!!!!!!!! DO BETTER!!!!!!!! Great experience, friendly staff, thorough communication and instructions from the veterinarian. Our Boxer came in with a brutal cut on her eye. Considering the number of other pet owners there with emergencies, I thought we would be there forever…we were seen and helped within a very timely manner. They even had a nice coffee bar plus a variety of snacks for my children in the waiting area. clean refreshing facility with caring staff. Very pleasant experience. 5 stars

My worst experience ever, was when my dog got shot 8 months ago. I took her to Oso Creek Animal Hospital where I was told they would not treat her until I paid $5800. I did not have the money to pay in full, so the only other option I was given was to put her down for $1000. When I refused I was made to pay $375 before they would release her to me. I took her to another animal hospital which treated her successfully for $800. Today she became a momma! They said she wouldn’t make it through the night. I wouldn’t recommend Oso Creek in Corpus Christi, TX to anyone that loves and values their pets.

The bad reviews was pretty scary but I had such a great experience coming here for ER. I called ahead to consult and they were very attentive and gave free advice.I decided to bring my pup in and they took very good care of him. It was expensive but it was an emergency. Dr Haller & Allred were wonderful to work with and I know Odin was looked after when he stayed overnight ?

Very money hungry. Won’t assist in anyway if you are in dire need. Do not bother coming if your pockets aren’t heavily lined.

They are very money hungry and all of their staff is fresh out of highschool and part of a college program.Spent 2.5 hours waiting with a cat that had severe burns. During the waiting process I watched a male dog leave the vet room, peed blood while the owner was cashing out, and they still sent them on their way but with a pack of potty pads.I knew the cat I brought in was burned, I just wanted an ointment or something to make sure it wouldn't get infected. They charged me a little over $200 to tell me the cat had burns and sent me on my way. Unfortunately the cat died a few months later.I've had countless people telling me their horror stories of this place. One that really stuck with me was my best friend took her cat there to get seen for breathing issues. They charged her a bunch of money and told her they couldn't find anything wrong. They moved a few weeks later and ended up having to take him to their new emergency vet which they ended up having to put him down because of major lung complications. She asked the vet if this was something that should've been seen around the time she took her cat to this corpus emergency vet and they told her that it was, in fact, something they should have seen.

We arrived and were told there could be a bit of a wait. When I asked how long the receptionist asked if our boy was stable or not (not bleeding out etc.). I said I think so. She said, "Just to be sure, I'm going to have the Vet Tech come take a look at him."Vet Tech came out to our truck to get vitals, did a 1-minute assessment and said, "No, he is critical. I am going to go and get a gurney for him so we can take him right in."Once he was inside, we went to sit down (prepared for a bit of a wait). They called us immediately and took us back to a very nice exam room. The vet came in to talk to us within less than 10 minutes to let us know that they did a sonogram & a belly tap (syringe) to see what was going on. His entire belly was filled with blood. We had just had him at his regular vet two days prior because his health was rapidly deteriorating, and after a full bloodwork check, all they could say is that he had a massive infection of some kind but had no idea where it was coming from. BIG DIFFERENCE than bleeding out!!!Needless to say, we had to say goodbye to our boy instead of putting him through a long and difficult surgery. He was almost 13 years old and would probably not made it thru the surgery. The vet said that it was probably cancer that had been ongoing for a long time. She assured us that unless we had been looking specifically for cancer, there was no way for us to know he was sick. The ENTIRE STAFF was so kind and respectful of what time we had left with him. The vet told us about each shot she gave him and was so kind. They also kept him for us until our preferred cremation service could come the next day and pick up his remains.

TOP rated veterinarian hospital in the Coastal South Bend. Well worth it. Amazing staff, very knowledgeable. The only one in Corpus Christi who have top rate technions, staff and doctors who know what they're doing. Great advice givers, educators and wonderful follow ups. This kind of care and quality, you usually have to go to Austin, San Antonio or Houston. But we a really have a top notch one here. Full on surgeries for young and old. Blood panels, etc. you name it. Great results. Saving lives everyday. Thank you for everything for all you do. Wifey said, "Thank You for saving our fur babies"!

DONT GO HERE IF YOUR ANIMAL IS DYINGThey won't help unless you will pay hundreds up front. Even if your animal is dying. They aren't about emergency care. They're about getting paid with emergency.

We took our kitty to VAC Oso in November for an emergency vet visit (he was 14 and suddenly his back legs stopped working). We could hear his cries and asked if we could go back and be with him for comfort, they refused. After some time we couldn't hear him anymore and they rushed in asking if we had signed the DNR form or not, they asked if we wanted them to preform CPR for 15 mins for $333 if our cat flatlined. Of course we wanted them to save our cat, that's why we were there, so we signed. 15 mins later they came in and said our cat didn't make it, it really felt like they tried to get every penny off his death.Charging CPR separately felt really unethical, it was more than all the emergency services put together. I would NEVER go there again. Call ahead and find a place that really cares and lets you be with your pet. Not being there at the end has been the hardest part of all of this.

Do not go to this place they refused to help a dying cat because the owner wasn’t able to pay $400 upfront they did not give the owners cat CPR after the owner begged them unfortunately the cat passed away. This show that this place has no compassion no love no respect no morals whatsoever while I get it’s a business however they could have set up an payment plan however no surprise they do not offer one instead they try to get you to open a credit card a hospital is a business too but they don’t turn down a dying patient they had choice to save a dying animal instead they chose money over a life.

You all should be ashamed of yourselves for allowing an animal to die in front of you all because of money. Why go into this profession if you clearly have no compassion, empathy, or baseline intelligence? I’m disgusted with every single person involved in that tragedy, whether you’re a veterinarian or the front desk associate. You all failed and should take a long, hard look at yourselves.
