“Best small thrift shop in Corpus Christi. They check for quality, so you know what you're buying is worth the money. Prices are very reasonable, and the service is quite pleasant as well.
If you're a thrifter, this is the kind of story you love to go to again and again because it's always a positive experience. Even some of the medium-sized, cause based stores (like the Purple place) don't check out everything they're selling you and they don't give refunds!
Bonus, American thrift is located right next door to the Fruit King!!!

The staff is super friendly, helpful and engaging! I went in twice during my stay. I believe it was AJ and Celeste there, if I caught their names right? Both were absolutely incredible, deserving of raises (if they hadn't got them already)!
The atmosphere is also wonderful. Good music is played and the store is well designed. Very cozy vibes.

“Went after work and the ladies very nicely announced the upcoming closing time without being pushy in the least. Large selection and everything was in good to great condition - no stains, holes, etc. that you'll find other places. Pricing was reasonable with rotating sales on different color tags. Definitely will be back.”

It’s crazy cause I take it to Plato’s after I get the deny from Threads and I get $$$ from Plato’s versus Threads. Also not to much items that stick out for me to buy. I recently went on an adventure to EVERY SINGLE thrift store in Corpus Christi and I can say with certainty that this specific Goodwill was the best. They had the largest selection, it was all highly organized, and the prices were actual thrift store prices. The young man who checked us out was efficient and friendly. It was VERY busy when I visited (seems everyone else knows this is the place to be too!) and some pleasant songs were playing at a good volume.

They are affiliated with The Catery which offer pet vaccines and sterilization at discounted rates. I have been donating and purchasing from them for years. It is a pet friendly business where you can bring your fur babies for some shopping. My fur babies get lots of love from the staff and enjoy coming along to pick out some toys.
