“This is a local gem that had great prices and great finds. It is clean and the staff are friendly. Best of all is the good that they do for the community. They are affiliated with The Catery which offer pet vaccines and sterilization at discounted rates. I have been donating and purchasing from them for years. It is a pet friendly business where you can bring your fur babies for some shopping. My fur babies get lots of love from the staff and enjoy coming along to pick out some toys. Retail Therapy also offer a rewards program for discounts on their already affordable items. Be sure to check them out and ask about Templeton.”

“Went after work and the ladies very nicely announced the upcoming closing time without being pushy in the least. Large selection and everything was in good to great condition - no stains, holes, etc. that you'll find other places. Pricing was reasonable with rotating sales on different color tags. Definitely will be back.”
“This store is amazing! I was visiting the beach for a little weekend getaway and I forgot my dress at home.In need of an outfit for dinner, I searched the city online to see where I would be able to find something to my liking. I walked over to this thrift store from my hotel and when I arrived it was well worth the walk in the heat.I was greeted warmly by the staff and was directed to a spot in the store where I could find what I was looking for. Thank goodness I went in knowing what I needed because if I didn’t, I would have stayed there all day and bought half the place!The owner was there, working hard and we got to talking. Texas all though big, is small in its own way, and we had some mutual friends/interests. Aside from the amazing conversation the owner brought life to her store.There are so many options to choose from! I doubt anyone who walks in would leave with nothing. I purchased two dresses and I am so happy I found this amazing store.I will be telling anyone I know who goes down there to visit and I know I will be going back when I’m down there again. Thank you!”
“Used to be awesome. Now not so much. Couple reasons. They no longer buy a lot of my clothing and not sure why. It’s crazy cause I take it to Plato’s after I get the deny from Threads and I get $$$ from Plato’s versus Threads. Also not to much items that stick out for me to buy. Any who still love y’all and hope it’s stay cool n enough to keep me coming back.”

“As a first-time shopper here, I had a great experience and would recommend this store to any new parents on a budget.
I found lots of good brands (tons of Gerber/carters, swaddles from Halo and Swaddleme, even a few higher end pieces like Janie and Jack, Cat and Jack, kate quinn, and Aden and Anais) and several things that I had on my registry, all at deeply discounted rates. The ladies working checked to see if I needed help a couple times (I was there for quite a while) and told me about the sales going on, but were not overbearing in any way. They seemed happy to help and happy to be there. There is incredible value for money, and things are neatly sorted.
I did catch 3-4 articles of clothing with stains on the racks, but the stains were always very small/not easily noticeable. And I was looking very carefully for them. Plus like I said, I was there for quite a while.
I was apprehensive about coming because of all the bad reviews, but I’m glad I did. A lot of the bad reviews are from people trying to sell clothes (maybe the store needs to be more transparent about their selection process? Seasonality, color, overstock in a certain size/brand?) - but as a shopper I had a good experience.”
