“Went to Jason's Deli. No problem getting in or out. Plenty of parking. We had two Reuben the Great sandwiches. Awesome!! We are repeat offenders! Love the Reuben sandwiches!!”
“The day I showed here I had quite a surprise by a customer who had a little hand basket full of goodies in it and she was behind me but all I had was 2 pks of AAA batteries and a bottle of hand sanitizer. So I told her to get in front of me because she had a Baskett full of stuff and she got in front of me and she said thank you and that the things in the Baskett were goodies for her little grand kids so said to her well isn't that nice grandma is buying all those goodies for her little grand kids I bet they can't wait to go to grandma's house so they can eat them some goodies that grandma has for them. So after she paid for her things then I started to walk up to the register and she gave me a gift card that had at least $14 or more dollars on it and I thanked her and used it to purchase the items I had and it had money left on the card what a blessing.”
“I love this area! So many shopping options to choose from. Plus a Bank and an awesome cupcake bakery along with many other small shops. I'd rate this area a 10 for sure!”
“Love this shopping center especially that Hesters has a sitting area outside to enjoy your meal bkk has a Thai and a Mexican restaurant in this plaza and it's in a neighborhood literally could be walking distance from your house I absolutely love this location.”
“Had lunch at Catfish Charlie's with family. The food was great. It always is. We had a very enjoyable lunch. Before eating, we stopped in a little shop called Make Mine Country. They have so much cute stuff. I am going back when I have more time.”
“La Palmera is a great collection of large department stores, smaller & more specialized stores and really good restaurants. The pizza at Grimaldi's is the best in Corpus Christi. The food court is a decent collection of fast-food outlets, but more variety of food would be helpful. Overall, I highly recommend!”

“Kids play area, large aquarium in the food court , festively decorated and so many store you will find what you are looking for! Fashion, fragrance, beauty, gifts, food, they have it all! Lots of parking, anchor stores 2 levels, parking garage out of the sun! It is Texas y’all! All the store you count on being at the mall and some local ones that stand up in quality to the department stores! Specialty boutiques and well you just have to see it! Clean restrooms and common areas. Kicking AC - no groups of 16 year old 3 or more ! All teen groups must have an adult with them if they are 3 or more( seen this clearly printed in the rules when you enter the mall entrance near dillards but not actual dillards entrance”
“This is by far my fave gym. I've tried so many others and this one is just a vibe! The staff are welcoming and don't make you feel awkward, even for a newbie. The price is great and there are so many classes that can help you kick start your fitness journey. Evolve class is my favorite, Margaret is a wonderful instructor and keeps me going back. Oh they have boxing bags! Yay”
“05/24 - The footprint the original center is now taken up by Walmart now. The remaining shops are in newer built strip center. A far change from the original center that was once a hub for shopping in Corpus Christi before its decline when the Padre Staples Mall (now known as La Palmera) was built.”

“You can donate plasma then eat subway or little Caesars or Mexican food then shop for cowboy hats n boots if ya wanted ? then shop at two dollar stores and if ya a cricket customer you can pay your phone bill what more do you need ?? oh and you can catch the bus across the street if needed”
