The rooms are a little dated, but the amenities are fantastic. It's basically a one bedroom condo with washer and dryer, full-size kitchen, living room, pool barbecue areas, and jacuzzi, not to mention the fishing pier. Stop by and ask to see how to become a member.

Love this place been going here my entire life!! But the carpeting and furniture is still like I'm in the 90s. A little upgrade would be nice!

Enjoyed a week at La Casa del Sol in Corpus Christi, TX. This is a small resort with a pool and fishing/boat dock but no beach access. They do have fishing poles you can borrow in the office but you still need a license. Closest beach access is about 1 mile away from the resort…very important to purchase a beach pass ($12) at the Stripes Convenience Store and it’s good for a year. I enjoyed my stay here, room was clean, kitchen stocked with essentials, good water pressure in shower, comfortable bed, and quiet. My only issue was the Wi-Fi can be unstable requiring you to log in/out sometimes. The folks running the place were always helpful and take great care of the property.

The place is a privately owned timeshare type of place. A friend of mine offered to let me have a week and we were very happy to get it. The place is well taken care of me the people we met all seemed great. We spent plenty of time in the heated pool and hot tub and it was a great base of operations as we explored Port Aransas and Corpus Christi.

It’s not open to the public; it’s for owners only. It’s small, private and cute with pool, hot tub, grills, dock and easily access to the beach and bars on Windward.

I have been coming here for almost 40 years. La Casa Del Sol is in my heart and I love it. The staff is amazing how they keep everything so nice for us. The pool is heated all year too. Fishing docks are nice and the beach is close

Literally just checked in. Not only did they check us into the wrong room, they sent us to the wrong floor. So we called and asked for the actual key because it does not have a fob to swipe a card. We have two kids with us and carried up the luggage and because of THEIR mistake couldn't even run us our key? I think we may be checking out and canceling and going somewhere else. Incredible. Awful customer service after driving 15 hours and chose to stay HERE- we haven't even gotten into the room yet.
