Customer service has went downhill since the manager Krystal took over. Never had negative experience until her. Very rude and not helpful. Planning on changing banks soon and so is my husband

Trying to bring Car payments up to date They will tack on Grifting fees. They used to take out late fees with the payment. I understood that. So my late fees were added to pay with the Car payment. Now seems like they are adding those back fees to when it was taken out of the payments. Chelsea and Amber ate at odds with giving consumers correct information.

My husband is literally still on hold as I type this. We’ve been on hold for over 30 minutes since calling to ask why his card was declined with thousands in our bank accounts. THIS IS AFTER calling the fraud department number provided by this credit union ONLINE and being told they no longer service them. Zero access to our money and zero communication during open hour while 8 hours away. So there’s just NO ONE to answer a phone at either location? Almost makes me want to just tell him to pull all our money out and cancel all our accounts once we are back home after being loyal members for over a decade.

This location is not up to par with the others. I went in to make a payment on my gcfcu credit card, only to find out days later that the employee DID NOT do the transaction correctly. When I called, the person on the other end would not let me get in a word edge wise, please train your employees better! DO BETTER!

I've tried 3 times to call to get rates and terms for a $100k lot I want to purchase. I guess they don't want my business because no one answers the phone! I'll just take my business elsewhere.

I haven’t had a debit card in more than a week and they keep saying they don’t have a time frame when one could be issued nor can one be sent . So I will move to a bank that can !

They never know what's going on , and they logged me out of my gulf coast app so I can't even log in. And see what my balance is and I'm hours away from town so I don't know how much money I have! I call to fix the situation and they won't answer the phone , called 2times and goes to a full voice mail, during open hours. It's always something here , not the only bad exp. I've had

Terrible customer service. Front line lenders do not know what is "in the box" and make promises they cannot keep. Had a condo loan they let go all the way to contract expiration and promised the whole time they would meet the closing only to fail to come through on the very last day of the contract. Who does that? Cost their customer their dream place. Had another lender that would have been able to step in and deliver in one week vs the 45 days they said they needed but Gulf Coast messed that up as well. Better to give an early "no" than to say "yes" and then not be able to deliver to the customer on the last day of their contract. Oh, and they sent out disclosure questionnaires at the end of process vs the beginning which nobody does. Just an utter lack of customer responsibility from beginning to end. To add insult to injury, there are appraisal fees and inspection fees incurred that are lost because they promised and could not deliver. They should refund them to the borrower. So think long and hard about going with a lending institution that does this to a customer. If all that wasn't enough, on the transfer they noted it was a primary residence (which it was not) which resulted in the lending institution that was stepping in to bridge their incompetence delaying for three days which resulted in the deal getting squashed for the borrowers. Just incompetence every step of the way. Honestly we felt so bad that we allowed their customer to keep over $3,000 owed to us. Lupita did not come through.

Avoid at all costs. This FCU is running in the dark ages and the employees are nearly completely incompetent. If you get a car loan it will cost you $12 a month to make a payment online. You cannot sign up for auto-pay at least not online. It took 3 days of back and forth with them to setup my online access to see my accounts. In the end they ended up sending my "secret" pin over clear text regular email and could not complete using their own secured email nor the pin on the form they requested and I returned via secure email. I am days past my first payment date and I have still not gotten any paper work from them on how to make a payment, where to send it, etc. No one ever answers the phone in the load department. Want to use another bank that will not charge you to make the payment good luck, you cannot get your load account numbers or submit address online or as I can tell another way as they "hide" them for your safety. If you like banking 1990's style this is your ticket. For your own good do not do business with this FCU. I sorely regret my vehicle dealer using this company for my loan.

Always a pleasure conducting business here. The whole staff is always friendly and helpful especially Chloe Tijerina. It seems she goes out of her way to make every visit as pleasant as possible.

Trisha Gonzalez is wonderful. She is very professional and on point. She has gone out of her way with every loan banking need I have had. I couldn't ask for a more reliable and genuine person to assist me with my loan needs.

It’s nice to walk in the bank and be welcomed by your name. I appreciate Chloe Tijerina and the excellent customer service she offers.
