Worst service I've ever had anywhere waited an hour for an hour and asked three separate times for assistance fuck this place and the people who work there

The worst of the worst of the worst customer service. Their inventory is always off. Online says they should have the products, however..the store seems to be out of stock. They rarely ever answer the customer service line...I tried calling and the phone rang for more than 5 minutes and was never answered, the call clicked as if it was transferred, but still no answer. I noticed that this location has 2 stars and now I know why. Doesn't seem like management nor the employees do anything to turn it around nor try to redeem themselves.

Yesterday, I needed to place a large flooring order I arrived near 2. I had been there the previous week and bought a few samples to show a customer. Customer chose and on this day I wanted to place the order. I go to the flooring department desk and wait, then i go to the pro desk area. There are 9 employees having a large time. One employee ask to help I said I need to place a large floor order. You need to go to flooring. Ok, but I've been there and no one is there. Well all of our computers are being used up here I'll call someone to meet you. First, none of the large time happening employees were standing in front of any of 10 computers actively doing any computing and no other customers were in front of me. I went back to flooring and sat down 20 minutes before I called the store from my cell phone to ask for help. Finally Desiree came up. She was able to make my shopping experience worse. I mis-pronounced her name and she was happy with a upside down smile to help me know that twice. But again all I need is flooring and they sell flooring right? Read this conversation Her: We don't have enough to complete your order. Me: Okay can we order? Her: it doesn't show up in the system. Me: but here is the pic of the bar code from right over there. Her: we only have 20 boxes Me: can I order online? Her: it's not in the system I doubt it. You can buy our 20 boxes, and go to the 2 other stores and pick up what they have to complete your order. Me: can I call the stores in advance and have it ready. Her: you can try but it's not in the system. Me: if it's not in the system why are you telling me the inventory of other stores? I have no idea what is true. Because i left with no flooring and will go to another store and ask my customer to choose from a different stores selection. I mean it's just another trip to a customers home and repeat the selections process and back to the order department. It will not be the floor dept of "d pot" Thanks Home Depot for showing me the correct pronunciation of "Desiree" only cost my company $350 in wages for lost time. READ MY REVIEW FOR THE LOWES experience. There is a big difference in training. This is alone set in place from the culture set in place from management.

Bought a fridge in November 21, fridge broke four months later contacted local Home Depot spoke with manager (who wasn’t any help at all) said only option was to get a local appliance repairman to order parts needed and come install when parts are in. A month later STILL WAITING!!!!!!! NO HELP AND NO ANSWERS!!!!! I’ve even called Home Depot Corporate Office STILL NO HELP!!!! PLEASE DON’T BUY ANY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT!!!!!!

This Bridgeport on Southport Ave store has improved, Emilio, John, Roy, Courtney, Nadia, Jody, Flooring, Lawn & Garden, Lumber, Rental, Plumbing, Electrical and every department has turned this store around, keep up the good work. Better service means more customers. Please keep more staff working, so we can get help and buy more! I would like to see improvements in security, maybe hire off duty police/law enforcement. We even got a new store manager Lisa! Ps. make sure you follow up with complaints, this was a big issue in the past. Make it safe and clean and more people will shop here :)

I was in desperate need of a washing machine and all the other stores in the area did not want to help me at all. You can order it was what everyone kept saying. Emilio went out of his way to help me find a clearance model I could take home today. Ruby made sure it got loaded and I was able to able to get home.

we bought new appliances for our home and the first employee to assists us was Rubi, she was fantastic, then she called over the young lady from garage doors and escorted us to her desk, she was very helpful getting our garage door ordered, then back to Rubi, who then connected us with Evee, who help us order new carpet, all these young ladies were very helpful, kind and interested in giving us good customer service, my husband was very impressed with them, especially Rubi, in appliances, because she called these other young ladies and explained what we needed and they helped.

These ppl should get zero stars!! I ordered a refrigerator May 9, 2021. I was told I would have to wait 20 days! I said ok. After waiting 20 days, they changed the time from 8 am to 9am to 2pm - 6pm. Then they came with a dented up refrigerator,which I refused. After that I had to wait til Tuesday June 1 to find out what was going on. At this point, I was told I would have to wait til wensday to reschedule my delivery. I was disgusted and asked Christina for a refund. I'd rather wait 5 days for a refund then wait another second for anything else home depot has to offer. What a mess, smh. I'm sure they will use Covid as an excuse. I waited almost an entire month!!! Home depot can take there delivery service and shove it where the sun don't shine.

I am honestly baffled by my experience here and am only posting this review to warn others and hopefully get some resolution. This was my first time ever shopping at HD and lemme tell y'all.. just go to Lowes. My boyfriend rented a carpet cleaner to clean our bedroom, it was supposed to be a simple 1 night task so we didn't find the need to buy the protection plan (DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE IF YOU CHOOSE TO RENT FROM THIS PLACE). We got it home and it stopped working within the first few minutes of using it. We immediately called HD and spoke to someone who said we can bring it back for either a refund or a replacement. My boyfriend asked if I could bring it in the next day since we drove from the town over and he had work, and they said that was fine. I drove back today to drop it off and the employee told me that not only will they not give us any refund or replacement, but we were supposed to bring it back yesterday and we are also obligated to pay for whatever maintenance is needed on the machine (up to like $1,300). He wouldn't give me much info after that and just kind of stood there and shrugged his shoulders and kept saying whatever I was told yesterday on the phone was not correct. I asked for a manager who was even more rude and aggressive about it even after he ADMITTED TO THE OTHER EMPLOYEE RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME THAT IT WAS THEIR MISTAKE. He straight up looked at the other employee, said "yeah we shouldn't have told them that yesterday", then turned to me and said "yeah since you didn't come yesterday you're still liable". After explaining yet again what I was told on the phone, he cut me off and asked why my boyfriend didn't bring it in this morning (because we works at 5 A.M.????). Of course he didn't care and pretty much told me that's too bad. Now we are potentially out our rent money for the month and our carpets are still dirty. We basically wasted gas driving to pick up some heavy machinery that didn't even work and now we have to fork out money for. I truly don't understand how a business can admit they made a mistake and still expect their customer to fork out close to a thousand bucks just because they technically can. I am very sick over this and will definitely not be going back ever.
