“A small business with plenty of various beef, chicken, and pork items to choose from. Also, a dog food package is available. Along with seasonings and sides, there are few desserts to take home. Courteous and professional. No Military discounts.”

“Have had several animals (white tail and hog) processed with this company and have been completely satisfied. I am new to hunting and they answered all of my questions and were very patient with me. To my surprise the turn around was quick and the sausage is delicious. My kids absolutely love the dried sticks and smoked cheese sausage. I personally enjoyed the chorizo and pan sausage options. I will definitely be returning next year.”

“Again another wonderful experience from start to finish. Stopped in today with a girl friend whom hadn’t been in yet and I’m so glad we did! jalapeno Sausage, burger, steaks, bacon wrapped ground sirloin, jalapeño poppers yes please!! To the guys at the meat counter thank you for your patience and your amazing customer service.I’ve seen multiple people complain about the cashiers here and all I saw was individuals just not used to talking to people they don’t know or don’t relate to so they waited to be engaged by someone, and they they’d talk. Sure it seems a bit cold but all it takes is a simple hello from a customer to change their perspective even if only for a little bit”

“This is a great place for your Mexican food needs with a lively interior that is well-maintained. The food court inside is pretty cool and they have the three Mexican grocery store essentials: the bakery (with conchas), the dried pepper section, and the meat market with their assorted marinated chicken etc. I never go for those, but thought it's worth a mention. I just come for the niche Mexican produce such as epazote Mexican parsley, and their huge selection of fresh peppers. They have the most diversity in pepper of any grocery store in Corpus Christi. Sadly I could not name them if you asked me, but I know they carry banana peppers, Anaheim peppers and red jalapenos, which are not common elsewhere. They also have banana leaves, fresh and not frozen (unlike the Asian market on SPID are frozen), but they are 4-lb bags so you have to commit to buying a LOT more than you probably need.

Some cons: Sometimes, they get the produce wrong at the register, I guess it's not surprising that they can't identify all the different peppers either. although the staff is friendly, some of them don't speak English, and this could be a problem at the register. Twice, the peppers were identified incorrectly and on one of those times, the cashier couldn't speak English, so when I noticed the price mismatch, I couldn't communicate the problem. Luckily I just happened to have my Spanish-speaking friend that day who explained the problem and I was able to get my refund.”
