The quality of everything here has gone down so much. Food is hardly edible anymore. Been going here since I was diapers, the new F&B Director seems to have made their already mediocre food, to now taste worse than McDonald's. Preston was a much better F&B.

Do Not have a school banquet here. They offer a space to rent and then allow the bar to remain open serving alcohol to loud golfers who seem unaware that children are right there. You could hardly hear what the coach was saying about our athletes who worked hard all year. So disappointing! At one point, you could here one of the drinkers yelling “give me whiskey and beer”. You would expect more from a Country Club but it was the opposite of class.

Always a great experience here! Employees are always attentive and willing to help! Christian was a great help for my mother-in-laws wedding! Made sure everything was going according to plan and stayed close to meet our needs! Definitely recommend checking them out and DEFINITELY consider having your events here!

It has been some time since I've been to Oakmont Country Club this was my fifth trip to the club. it was great to see Nic Edwards at the club today. he always is part of a great staff and has great leadership and lots of respect from all the Professionals in the DFW community. I have done quite a few events that he has participated in for charities. The course was in amazing condition for the middle of summer during extreme hotspill and the clubhouse was amazing again. I look forward to my next outing at Oakmont Country Club it is a special Hidden Gem outside the metroplex.

I have played this course many times over the last two years and I just wanted to say how great the service is and how good the conditions of the course are. I am not a Club Corp member but have played at many of their courses through out DFW and in California and Oakmont is right at the top in my mind. I would prefer Oakmont over Prestonwood Hills course Brookhaven CC or Walnut Creek CC. I would say its just under Glen Eagles CC or Stonebriar. Its not nearly as difficult or have a well polished bag drop off service but its a good course. They have a quality practice facility with a double ended driving range and a very good sand / chipping area. If I had the money this is the course I would join.

Thank you to Andrew and the Oakmont Country Club for hosting the PGA Hope for Veterans at this golf course! Andrew was a first class host and everyone at the facility was amazing. Thank you for supporting Veterans and such a wonderful event!

I was a member for four years and can certainly say it’s overpriced for what you get. Most people join to play golf; however, if you only play after 5 pm, stay away. It turns into a nine-hole course due to the closing of one side every afternoon, i.e., Olga(Tuesdays), seniors(wed), scramble(Thurs), and it’s closed Monday. Weekends only get worse with trying to find a tee time as you’ll need to call days in advance, and usually, that’s not possible when you have kids or work that requires ever-changing plans. So if you work for a living, then not worth joining for 500+ a month for a nine-hole course. They increase dues every year but don’t put any of the money back into the course/clubhouse as ClubCorp puts this into its nicer courses, and Oakmont stays with bad cart trails, greens that are so 15 years pastdue for replacement you can feel the ground move underneath you. They don’t care because they know they don’t have competition around Denton and Corinth. It was something special, but now it’s just a money pit without any improvements. Note most of these reviews are from visiting people who don’t play golf and were there for a meal or reception, so those reviews, while important, are not from paying members of the club. One more thing: if you decide to join, don’t get a cart. They have a cart trail fee that goes up every year and now is at $1200-1500, and it will get beat up with the trails that are never improved. It’s like paying a toll for a pothole road.lol. Most courses see value in members having personal carts as that’s less money they have to pay for maintenance, more carts available for tournaments, etc. Understand Oakmont has excellent staff and great members like no one else. Unfortunately, Clubcorp doesn’t see the error in its ways in not using some of its profits to be put back into the course. 500k from poa, 65k+ in personal cart trail fee, and membership dues, none of which go back into the course for improvements. Miss the great members and staff, but don’t miss club corp.

The staff is professional and personable. The tennis coach Shaun is fantastic. It's a chill and friendly club, not stuffy or uptight. The golf is very good per my husband and friends.
