Hey I have been reading the reviews about customer service and I have been seeing a lot one one star reviews and I can not see why this is I have always had a great experience going here and the customer service is great especially if your not that experienced in whatever your doing and come back and return things 3 times in a row just to find the right part I would give this place more stars if I could helping me out with unexpected projects I have had recently

The manager at this store is completely useless and either refuses to help customers or gives them the wrong information like he's never even stepped foot in the store. So many family members have had issues with Marcus's laziness. The other employees are great.

It is hard to find someone to help. I had questions and wa there for a long time, I found on person to help me. I was looking for a cart and couldn't fine one. While struggling to carry my items, no one gave me a heads up on finding a cart, basket nothing.

The employees of this store don't seem to care about anything. The ducklings had no heat lamp, several chicks were dying also without heat lamps or any warmth.

I had bought 5-4x8 pieces of lumber $25/ea. and when they loaded it they couldn't get tailgate back up ( I told them not to lower it) and then when I didn't have a tie down I was told to just drive slow..which I did until I saw a piece slid off in traffic and putting it back I noticed 3 others were already gone and I went immediately back where I was told tough luck.. now I was out $75 and they couldn't even take part of them blame? What happened to customer service and working with a problem.. oh yeah I had to keep calling them as they wouldn't return my calls either..

On 03/09/24 we bought a broken lawn mower at this store. We only owned it about an hour, just long enough to see that it didn't work. We were insulted, screamed at and belittled by a man named Marcus, first when my son tried to exchange the machine; then again by phone when I called to see what could be done about the broken mower. There was no need for the man's belligerent attitude and we did not deserve his abuse.
I sent a complaint to HomeBase Corporate Office with a copy to the store, and disputed the payment with my bank. It puzzles me that something this straightforward turned into such an unpleasant experience,

I was looking for specific metric hardware and while other stores stocked it, they had small quantities and were out of stock. Home Base had what I was looking for and had it in large quantities.

This place has appalling customer service. Not only was I belittled and embarrassed by not only management but upper management for an issue that was clearly the companies fault but I was told over and over again I was wrong when clearly I was right. They acted like I was a bother to them after spending hundreds of dollars in the store. You can clearly tell they have no customer service training and no interpersonal communication skills. I would recommend that Tom and Diane and whoever the other lady was who I spoke with all take these courses or be fired you dont treat people who pay your salary like ? and talking down to someone with a B.A isn't advisable because I will take it further than you wanted I know when im being mistreated and will do what is necessary. DONT TREAT PEOPLE LIKE ? I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS STORE EVER AGAIN I WAS TREATED LIKE A CRIMINAL AND TECHNICALLY THEY STOLE FROM ME!!!! If anyone associated with this store sees this please contact me or let me contact you I would like a formal complaint submitted and a formal apology. You lost a great customer sucks for y'all I guess ?♀️

Yesterday, I visited Homebase to purchase a space heater due to my pipes freezing. While I was assisted by a helpful employee, who was a black female with colored hair, her comment during our interaction struck me as unprofessional. After explaining my situation, she remarked, ‘Oh, you didn’t let the water drip? Wow, I would hate to be married to you.’ As someone who is new to dealing with cold weather, being from Southern California, I found this comment to be inappropriate and insensitive. It’s important for customers to feel supported and respected, especially when they are dealing with challenging situations like frozen pipes. While I appreciate the assistance in finding the product I needed, the experience was marred by this unnecessary comment. Professionalism and empathy are key in customer service, and I hope this feedback helps in improving future customer interactions.

Home Base provides almost everything you need for home improvement, repairs, maintenance or gardening at comparable prices to to the big box stores right here in town.

I've only been here a couple times but their customer service is atrocious. A tad bit over priced but probably won't come back. It's the closest but I'd rather waste the gas.

Great staff with a good selection of products. Management is awesome and always willing to help. Homebase is far better than the big store names where you can never find anyone to help you whenever you have a question.
