My wife took her truck up there to have her transmission serviced and looked at, it’s been almost 3 days and they just now put it on the lift to look at it. They told her that they would put it on the lift later that day or the day after, and they never did; she never even got a call back. She had to call them and find out the status,, so she called them and to find out it’ll be $2500 to replace the lines on the transmission. But since she needs her truck for work, she decided to wait and go pick up the truck and get it done possibly at the beginning of next year. But once she told him that, hey I’m gonna come pick up my truck. I don’t need any work done on it. I need it for work. The gentleman on the phone said OK fine and then slam the phone down on her. She was not even rude or disrespectful to this worker, this first impression is definitely leaving a bad taste in my mouth and her mouth for the shop. Please build some more interpersonal people skills And maybe some anger management classes, because if this is how you talk to people, then we don’t want to have Anything to do with your business. We will take our business somewhere else.

Great fast service.Owner communicated all of the problems so we could make an informed decision. Will definitely be going back for any of our other vehicles.

This shop put their name on my Tahoe. They were reasonable in price and they fixed some of the things that I needed to fix without hesitation. They are very knowledgable about transmissions and anything that has to do with the vehicle. I would so recommend anyone to this shop Mr. Al and Steve are good, and it didn't take them forever to get the job done.

Nothing negative to say here. Great service, great price, warranty, great timeline. Your preferred mechanic probably brings your car here for transmission work anyways.

Custom transmission is the most honest, reliable gold star place I've ever been to. I've never been to a place I could trust in more than this placeI had just recently had a bad experience with getting my clutch replaced, at Ray's auto mechanic in Killeen. I was hesitant and reluctant to trust anyone after Ray.If you want your car fixed properly and not be taken through the coals go to custom transmission in copperas cove. Words cannot express my gratitude to you for fixing my car properly and efficiently...Not to mention the most affordable.They deserve the highest golden stars.My opinion, anybody who has anything bad to say about this company. Obviously did not have patience for a very busy man. And I call rubbish on anybody who says he's not fair and honest.

Saved by Alvin and co. several times.Not just MY truck but our fleet at Killeen Overhead Doors,(including heavy duty and light duty trucks),POVs as well,in my case at least,go ONLY toCustom Transmissions.Businesses owned ,and operated,by individuals who have the old school work ethic of''Do the best job you can possibly do, or don't even bother",and actually stand behind your warranty,not just on paper,are somewhat RAREthese days.So it's very refreshing to have a service provider you just go to and never HOPE they treat you and your service item right,kind of like a neighbor?.You KNOW they will.And THAT,is exactly what you getfrom Alvin /Custom Transmissions.? ????

These guys were Great! I have an older Truck and I'm doing my best to keep it going. They were very knowledgeable and fixed my Transmission with ease. I have been recommending them to anyone who needs Transmission work. The price? It was a heck of a lot better than what friends and co worker's told me to expect. Very grateful that they were recommended to me.

It is truly a great place. My transmission went out last year, and they had it up and going in good time. I travel a lot in sales and have had no issues since the new rebuilt transmission went into my 2011 Avalanche.I recently had a new unrelated issue come up where a cable came loose that had me stranded 30 miles from their shop. To save me on towing, they came out to me, got the truck to where it would make it to the shop, and fixed the issue in a day. Just good guys running an honest business. I'm so thankful this kind of business is still around!

Alvin and his staff are kind, courteous and very professional. He repaired several leaks on my RV and took me in even though he was booked. Each repair was quick and exceptionally well done. By far one of the best shops I have had the opportunity to work with. I'm a full time RVer so top tier repair shops are hard to find. This shop gets my vote on being a true "gem".

So far I'm not real impressed. I'll modify my review if things change, but I had my RV towed there over 2 months ago and still haven't received a single call from them. Called them 2 weeks after they got it to check on it and he said they were short handed and haven't had a chance to look at it yet. Waited another 4 weeks and called them again and they said they'd call me by the end of the week, they never called here it is 2 weeks later and still nothing. I've decided to just wait obviously calling them is pointless, im curious how long they will go until they FINALLY call me. Hopefully things will get better, but first impression wasn't the greatest. I mean come on guys, if you cannot get to a person's vehicle in over a month stop taking in new work for crying out loud ?♂️Service: Transmission

We drove in from Denver and the rear differential blew up in my Dodge Ram. I called Alvin and he said bring it in. They rebuilt it in record time as I needed the truck for work in town. We drove it back to Denver hauling a 6000 lb trailer and the truck performed perfectly. I would say that was a hell of a test drive. Thanks Alvin and guys,You saved my life.God Bless

Bought an old squarebody suburban 4x4 from these guys with a trans that they rebuilt. I've replaced spark plugs, the distributor, the water pump, and put on fresh 39.5 x15 super swampers. After multiple trips from west to south texas and a few corpus runs the trans has yet to let me down. LolI wish I could give y'all 6 stars and yes, that old mud truck is still running.
