I have nothing but great things to say about Old Town Family Practice. Dr. Swaldi and his entire team are AMAZING providers that demonstrate the upmost care, professionalism, and intellect. As a PA student who has rotated through numerous clinics, I can say with confidence that this is the best place in the entire DFW metroplex to receive care. They are thorough, timely, organized, honest, and compassionate.

Dr. Swaldi and Valerie, NP are awesome! Their staff are accommodating when our family needs appointments, and it’s clear that they are the best family medicine practice around! Incredibly intelligent, patiently listen to interrogate the clinical issues, and an incredible bedside manner. Set up your next appointment with them! You won’t be disappointed!

Every office has to vet the front desk for professionalism, patience, and courtesy and particularly in a busy office with an extreme amount of patient contact. Sometimes, they don't get it right. Seems a whole lot calmer these days. I've been coming here for 28 years and right now Doc has it nailed down.

5 years here and I can only say great things about Dr. Swaldi & Staff. Jessica is an Extremly Smart Educated nurse with impressive medical knowledge and Dr. Swaldi is the G.O.A.T.
Front staff is friendly and helpful.
As well as their intake.

This is BY FAR, the best family practice in DFW. I have been a patient of Dr. Swaldi's as long as I can remember, and if there is one thing I can say for this place, it's that they practice common sense medicine. They do not over prescribe, over-evaluate, nor do they provide unnecessary services to pad their wallets. They get it right 100% of the time, on the first try and only do what is necessary to get people feeling better, no more, no less.
If you or a loved one is looking for a practice where they truly care about you, your health, and your wallet, look no further.

Very disorganized and unprofessional. Went there for 2 years, don't waste your time, I should have read the reviews. Messed up my prescriptions several times, then trying to get me to come in for unnecessary doc visits. I was told many times Dr. Swaldi would call me and he never did. Unresponsive to messages & voicemails.

Old Town Family Practice is my new favorite doctor's office! All of the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Dr. Swaldi is such a nice, humorous, and especially intelligent guy. 100% recommended!

Dr. Swaldi is a highly skilled, exceptional doctor with an unparalleled bedside manner, always taking the time to listen without interruption. His knowledge, experience and genuine compassion truly sets him apart from the rest. The staff is awesome too, always super friendly and professional. Also, there’s a lab draw station on site which makes things more convenient and accommodating. Dr. Swaldi has been my families PCP for many years and I couldn’t say enough great things about him. I highly recommend OTFP.

Honestly not willing to waste my time writing some long review but the bottom line is this place is extremely unorganized. I’d only go here if you’re sick with the flu or something because anything more serious and they’ll probably fail you. They just can’t keep up with what’s going on with your health so I’d suggest finding someone who can.

I had a teledoc visit in July of 2020, paid my copay, and thought everything was finished there. Now in November of 2021 I am getting a request for $160 of additional charges associated with that visit. 15 months later I am getting price gouged. When I brought this to the staff's attention I was treated rudely. I went to my insurance and they said they had not yet received a claim from this office. I have circled back with this office several times and not only has no progress has been made but in fact now my requested charge has increased to $200 AND I received a nasty message from one of the staff on accident that clearly wasn't meant for me. I am dumfounded by how awful this practice is. I highly advise anyone to go any where else.
