A little small but overall good spot for your dog to play.

I just moved to Coppell and was so excited that there was a dog park close to the house I’m renting. The first time we went it was a great experience. However, as the weeks of intense heat have continued, it seems the City of Coppell does not water the grass at the park. The ground is dry as can be and the cracks that have formed due to the drought conditions in the park just get larger and larger. I have stopped going because I’m worried that my dog, while running to chase the ball, is going to injure himself by tripping or getting his leg stuck in these cracks in the ground. Also there are lots of ants. So, no pest control either apparently. It’s such a shame that an otherwise beautiful park is not taken care of properly to keep our pets safe.

Update, as of Sept 2024, the water is STILL off. Why is there NO water for months?! During the hottest summer? Maintenance is non existent. They close all day on Wednesdays (who knows why), but the ? never gets picked up . There are always dried piles along the fence lines which isn't sanitary because some dogs will eat them and spread infections. And the water fountains have been turned off for way too long. TURN ON THE WATER!!

Lots of shade everywhere & very clean open areas! Perfect to relax & enjoy yourself with your fury friend ?
Playground: There is a playground for the kiddos to enjoy. No swings tho.
Dog-friendliness: Amazingly very clean dog park. Residents do acknowledge the safety of others fury's so that's a plus!
Picnic area: There are quite a few picnic tables scattered around the park . Mostly under a big tree, so you'll enjoy yourself there with quite enough shade

Great local dog park. The community who visits are also great. Rumors about possible expansion and upgrades coming soon.

Turns into a swamp with even just a little rain due to extremely poor drainage. And it stays like that for a long time. Supposedly getting major renovations in the future which can’t come soon enough!

Well maintained facility although a bit on the small side. Good spot for locals, I wouldn't go out of my way to visit if I didn't live close by.
