Jenn and Polanco saved the day!! My high school daughter had a head light out and within minutes they took care of it!! This was the 4th store I called and the only one that actually answered and was SO friendly! Thank you for the family service!

My shifter cable was replaced 11.22.25 by Breaks Plus. On 12.12.25 (20 days later) the shifter cable broke again. I took my car to another shop as this shops done me wrong already several times (see old review bellow). After the shifter cable was fixed I returned to talk to Remi the store manager. He told me that he felt I did not give him a chance to repair the car and that I should have brought it back. Forgive me but having already had a bad experience I wasn't about to bring the car yet a 4th time to have another bad experience and or get taken advantage of again. Another woman at the counter said that 2006 Nissans have shifter cable issues. My car has 170,000 miles on it and I've never had a shifter cable problem. It seemed they were deflecting the poor craftsmanship of Breaks Plus's work by making the perceived bad craftsmanship of the maker of the car the issue. Remi then told me the new shifter cable done by the other shop would only hold 30 days. Remi then told me that if I left him a bad review that would help him because his buisness has so few bad reviews. While Remi said he was sorry, he didn't do anything to take accountability for the broken shifter cable. Saying your sorry without taking action to convey the sorrow is meaningless. When you are sorry for a mistake you have made you take action to make things right. Remi did absolutely nothing.
A clear indication of a buisnesses integrity is how they react to negative feedback and how they treat people when things go wrong. Remi did absolutely nothing to improve the situation. Instead he blamed me for taking my car to another shop instead of bringing it back.
I can't in good conscience tell any one to bring their car there even for a basic oil change. If you bring your car to Breaks Plus get prepared to have the same issue soon. Also get ready for thembto to blame you for thier mistakes. A buisness can have a change of ownership and new management, but that doesn't mean you should give them a second (3rd or 4th) chance like I have. Please learn from me. A1 across the street and the Tire store provide superior service and you won't even deal with thier work failing.

October 2022 I got a new battery here. In January 2023 it would not hold a charge and I was stranded many times. I brought my car in and they told me I needed a new starter and alternator. I told them to humor me and replace the battery which was under warranty. The car worked normally after. I did not need a starter or alternator. They gave me a defective battery. In March 2023 my check engine light when on and I paid $150 for a diagnostic. They told me I needed 3 new catalytic converters even though only 1 was the problem. I took my car to the tire store across the street and without paying for a diagnostic the Tire Store replaced my catalytic converter faster and cheaper. They also didn't try and sell me 2 catalytic converters I didn't need. After taking my 3 cars here (the Garage) for a year I won't go back. They changed management and claim all your prior records are gone.

Great, fast and friendly service.
It was also very informative. They walked me through exactly what was causing my issues and explained the mechanics of my braking system to me. I found that very useful and informative. I will return.

DO NOT GO HERE. Horrible service. Will also keep your wheel key lock and then lose it/claim they don’t have it. When asked for it back, stated “there’s nothing we can do about it”
