Really enjoyed the private 50 yd shooting range, safe place to train and work on fundamentals/ shooting drills with my wife. Only downside is paying 35 dollars for an hour of shooting plus 18 dollars x2 as an entry fee to the range. Not to mention the 30 minutes of travel each way. Would come every week if I could afford it ! The employees are very professional and kind.

Please don't go so my favorite bays are open. It sucks when your local range is the best outdoor gun range in texas. They have awesome private bays and even better staff. Perfect for beginners and experienced shooters.

First time at this range and man, I was impressed! We had a 7 meter private bay for two hours. We checked out the pistol bays and explored the grounds where there was skeet shooting and archery. You gotta check this place out for yourself!

This was my first time visiting lone Star gun range. I truly enjoyed myself the staff was very knowledgeable and everyone there respected each other. Looking forward to coming back!!!??

Most outdoor ranges are hectic and uncomfortable due to weather, but lonestar was well maintained, well supervised, the RSO's were knowledgeable and helpful. I enjoyed using all of their ranges as we had hand guns, shotgun, and rifles. It was a great time for my friends and I, and we look forward to going back again soon.

I love coming to this range. Been here a few times and even got my gun license here. Classroom setting was nice and staff was overall pretty attentive and nice.
The range itself is fun. I mostly used the pistol range and the targets are steel. So you get to hear a nice ping when you get the target! Very happy the size of the range as it doesn’t feel cramp even with a lot of people there. Overall, one of my favorite gun ranges for sure.

I want to like this range, I really do. The price point for entry is pretty fair, the range staff is fairly nice and knowledgeable. I like the 300m steel targets they have going on and the place is clean.
My gripe is the obscure rules they just seem to make up on the go. For example. You can shoot from the prone on the rifle range. You can shoot from the seated. But you cant sit on the ground cross legged and shoot? If you're looking to do mag drills on the pistol range you're going to be severely disappointed. No holster drills either. Oh and if one of your feet accidently goes beyond the red line you'll get a nice stern talking too.
Too many rules all making it seem like the emphasis is to spend the extra money to rent one of the bays they have. Not my cup of tea, stay away from this place.

This place has the nicest people working. I went for fingerprints and my car ended up getting stuck in mud (multiple times) and they helped me out and made sure I made it on my way okay. Could not appreciate them and recommend this place more ! Angels, seriously! Thank y’all so much for the patience and help ! 10/10.

My first experience was the lady’s shooting class. It was amazing. I’ve recommend it to all the ladies I know around here. It was so much fun and I learned some new techniques. The instructors were awesome. We are going to be getting a membership now for the range. Cant recommend it enough
