Our car had a water leak in the right rear door. We were referred to Barry's, they met us, found the leak, bent the door back in place (I couldn't see the bend), and didn't charge a dime. Someone probably closed the door on a broomstick years ago. Thanks to Barry's Auto Repair.

Best collision shop experience in over 40 years on the road. Barry’s has two things that made life way easier than anywhere else I’ve had work done. The first is they have the talent to get quality interior and exterior work other shops couldn’t do—flat refusals from two national chains. Then there is the customer service—in particular, regarding repair costs and updates. They were up front about what the repair involved, then completed it on time and kept me apprised of their progress. Took less than two weeks for work which required OEM, fabrication, and some creativity—and, it looks amazing. Did I mention they included a small applicator bottle of color matched touch up paint. Barry, Krista, Janet and staff far exceeded expectations in every category.
UPDATE: Worked with Barry’s two more times over a couple years; once with insurance and once without. Again, Barry’s handled both adeptly, and the customer service was fabulous. The difference between dropping your vehicle for service at Barry’s versus others is similar to the added comfort you feel when dropping your kids (or pets) with family or friends rather than a child care facility or kennel—it’s that big of a difference. One of the repairs had unexpected delays due to substandard parts being sent—but ask yourself, in long view wouldn’t you prefer them to uphold high standards on your vehicle (while keeping you updated), rather than just chunking it out for future problems down the road—and then, probably without insurance. I wholeheartedly stand by my 5-star rating, and wish I could give them three independent 5-star ratings rather than just an update.
BOTTOM LINE: If you want discerning service and quality, look no further

(I'm writing this for my mother, Bobby P. who doesn't have a Yelp account). If you want perfection, Barry's Collision in Converse, is the place to go. They were highly recommended, and rightly so. I met with Krista, an Advisor/Writer, and she was very professional and easy to talk with. She kept me informed on the progress of the work being done to my car. My car is a 2015 Cadillac, and the repairs and paint job were so well blended, that you would never know it had been damaged. They also arranged for my rental car to be there for me and returned to them without me having to do it. WHAT SERVICE! It's individuals like those that work for Barry's, along with their outstanding customer service, that bring people back again and again. Bobby P.
