I needed my mailbox re-keyed. The whole process from request to new key was less than 2 weeks. Thank you!

I was going to write a bad review but changed my mind because I got a more efficient lady than the manager. I went to the post office to ask for a mailbox key two months ago. I was told it would take four weeks which is fine with me but after six weeks I have not received anything. I went to the post office. The gentleman manning the counter told me the postman would bring my mail that was on hold the next day and I still have not received anything. I called the 1800 number and was helped by a nice lady. I got an email from the manager which I reply to no avail. I sent four more emails to no avail. Today I called 1800 and then 936. I got a lady who took care of everything quickly. I received my mailbox keys within two hours. I wish I had asked her name because she took care of business unlike the manager. Thank you very much ma'am. The five stars belong to you.

If i could give negative stats I would. I just started a reselling business. It has been two weeks and they are still in possession of my packages for my customers. They are understaffed and overwhelmed by customers. It’s not good for business as they can not send off packages in a reasonable time to my customers. All my funds are on hold because of this. Nobody gets paid if we can’t do our jobs right? God bless them, but America has got to do better

USPS delivered our mail today to the box on the curb, but the priority envelope with medications was dropped on the ground since it was too big to fit through the box slot. The carrier could have simply walked it to the front door and dropped it in front of the door. You can clearly hear pills shaking in the bottles inside the package…..why would someone be so insensitive as to drop medications on the ground where anyone could find them? Kids are out on summer vacation and could have taken them and ingested them!

I'm sorry, this post office has just plain awful service. Not to down all of the staff but majority of them need better training. I'm new to the area and unfortunately my new address has a community mailbox.
I moved and paid for a change lock service in May 2024. Fast forward to August and I still don't have access to my mail key. I only have a year lease lol. It takes around 25 minutes to travel to the post office every other week and I spend hours in line to attempt to retrieve my mail.
For some reason, my mail continues to be delivered to the mailbox when it should be held at the post office. I am not sure where the miscommunication is but its disturbing to see that this is a common issue amoung some of the other new residents within the community. This process takes up a big amount of my time which it shouldn't be.
The amount of time that I spend at the post office can equate to having a small part time job for a few hours a week. There are so many other things I could be doing then spending time here at the post office to take care of business that should be a simple task that has turned into a challenge. For some reason, they have managed to always disappoint me on every visit.
Yes, the post office is under staffed but it doesn't excuse their unprofessional behaviors when it's clear that there is work to be done.
During my most recent visit 8/2/2024, I stood in the pick up line for an hour waiting to see if my mail had arrived and overheard the staff playing around in the back behind the P.O. Boxes saying curse words and speaking loudly while laughing. I'm all about a good time but not on the clock. Especially when there are customers that need help.
I'm so frustrated that I have packages and important mail sitting in the mailbox without movement. My local Mailman is no help. He wouldn't even take the mail from my box and give it to me in person while he was loading it in. Instead, his response was that they were behind on replacing the locks and told me I had to go to the post office to pick it up. I didn't make a big fuss about it even though I am highly annoyed at this point.
I made another hold mail request and saved the confirmation code. A few weeks later today I visited the post office only to find that NONE of my mail was there but instead STILL SITTING IN THE MAILBOX THAT I HAVE NO ACCESS TO.
I immediately went back online to the usps site to check the managed hold mail tab to see if I could make changes to my request. Only to find out the confirmation number to hold my mail that I saved screen images of was non existent. The system cant find it but it shows that the hold is active and wont allow me to create another request. Once again unacceptable.
I'm considering moving out of the zip code when my lease is up to avoid this post office at all cost. It's truly unacceptable and shouldn't be tolerated.
Where is management? I've called and someone answered only to not say anything for 10 minutes. While I heard background noise and I continued to say hello for someone to acknowledge me, once they did noticed that they accidently answered they then immediately released the phone call.
I send emails with no response from Customer service. It's just awful.

Worst PO experience I've ever had, and i lived in California for some time! Moved from Sugar Land in May and is now almost August and I still haven't received any mail nor received my mailbox key. I came in at the end of April to request the mailbox key and was told it would be a week and they would leave the key under the mat, came back 3 other times to at least pickup my mail and each time they have lied to me and told me that they key would be delivered that same day. Even, put a hold on my mail for some time and still did not get it delivered nor was able to pickup. They even told me at the post office that we have the worst of the worst delivery person in my community (River's Edge) and the only way out is to move!

Very very poor customer service and phone lines send u in a loop. Someone off the street told the mail lady that I didn't live in my house no more and so the mail lady just decided she was going to stop delivering mail to my house even though I'm there everyday

Very disorganized and dishonest. If you have the option to use a different USPS office, I highly suggest you do. If you have a trusted friend or family member outside of Conroe, send your packages there. I will send mine to my sister’s house in the Woodlands. I will not trust this location ever again. Incompetent morons.
