“I was referred to Apostolo's transmissions and was very fortunate to have been. I was hoping the hesitancy of my transmission from 2nd to 3rd was the fault of a bad shifting solenoid and was very tempted to drop the pan and replace it myself. Fortunately for me I decided to take it in and have someone look at it that knew what they were doing. Otherwise I would have been there with a transmission pan full of oil and metal shavings, wondering how I was going to get it to the shop. Turns out it was a thrust bearing, that had shredded because I kept driving it, in fact I drove it to Diel's shop, it is a wonder I made it considering the state of my transmission. They not only finished a day sooner than they said, but it cost me the same price as buying a reconditioned transmission on line.... without the delivery charge or installation fee.
