The veterinarian tech was wonderful and helpful I believe her name is Natalie, explained the process for payment plans (which I got through Care Credit) along with informing ever step of the way for my cat Dawn in assisting her recover from her flea allergy. The doctor was friendly and answered all questions and concerns I had. I been taking my two cats there for years and they have always been kind to me an ensuring my cats get the best help they can and ensuring they stay healthy in their senior years. They offer different prices depending on what work you need and willing to help you find treatment within your budget range that you can do that visit.

I called the office to talk about euthanasia. I was in tears and could barely speak. The young lady who answered the phone was so sympathetic and assured me that Dr. Byrd would be able to help me. She was an angel and treated Lucy with kindness. She stayed with me through the entire process. I was so blessed to have found her and her staff. Today, I received a sympathy card signed by the entire office. So very kind. Be blessed

Reasonably priced. Next day appointments available. The Veterinarian Mrs. Byrd is so kind that my sick scared cat loved her and wanted pets/cuddles! Her assistant was knowledgeable and attentive as well. Will not hesitate to bring any of my animals here.

It is November 2023 and this instance happened in May/June 2023. I’ve been simmering on this for a while, so I am finally posting my review. My cat had a side table fall on her paw when I was at work, and it fractured her paw in several places. When I first visited, I was told it would be $400 for general treatment and x rays. I later received a call that the total would be $1200 because they needed to sedate my cat and send off the X-rays. I asked, “why does she need to be sedated?”. I was told by office staff that the doctor ALWAYS sedates her patients for X-rays. Hmmm…so why wasn’t that included in the phone call and pre appointment visit? If she always sedates the patient, then that cost should be included. First red flag, but my cat was already there so I let it play out. My cat was splinted for her broken paw, and at an appointment a few days later I was told that my cat would need surgery because there was no bony callous forming and Dr Bird stated that it would be $5k to perform a surgery with screws and plates OR $2k to perform an amputation. Now I am a surgical tech. I work in an OR. I know how bones heal. So I asked her: “well the bony callous will form eventually, correct?” And she hesitated and then said “oh yes of course! So for now we’ll continue splinting it and then see what it comes to.” I kept the splint on, my cat tore it off, I did not go back to their office. I didn’t go anywhere. My cat started running and jumping around like normal. She is in PERFECT condition. She DID NOT EFFING NEED A SURGERY OR AN AMPUTATION. The only good thing to come from this situation is knowing I will never trust this clinic again. It’s a complete money grab. I feel terrible for all of the hopeful pet owners that came to Tender Paws for care of their animals and were told they need surgery, amputations, $800 x rays, and whatever else they were lied to about. The ONLY good thing about this office is the staff is very kind and caring. Everything else is garbage. So thank you staff for your kindness. Doc and corporate can eat one.

They treated Pink very well. Was kind and gentle. Most people see her breed and assume the worse. Would definitely recommend and will be bringing my other girls.

When I took my dog there the last thing they ever mentioned was money, their main concern was making my dog better. The staff is caring and compassionate and if it weren't for them my family and I would not still have our little puppy Oreo, they saved her life without even skipping a beat. I am now a forever a Tender Paws supporter. My Oreo will be going there for everything! Love the staff! My baby girl is a pyometra survivor thanks to these amazing people. We went there for hope and within 2 hrs our girl was in surgery, getting saved.

Name - Daniella Maffia* - Crazy I even have to write this review. I JUST left this vet to go to another vet not too long ago. Wish I could give 0 stars. I just moved to the area and was dealing with a dog who had some wounds fighting with her brother so I was already worried. Probably the most unprofessional place I’ve walked into. It was like gossip girl at the front desk. I think i know all these complete strangers lives now. Not to mention rude and dismissive besides one woman. Other than that even my fiancé looked at me and said I don’t like this place. I could hear a couple of the girls even whispering and I was trying not lose my cool. Then I was interacting with one of the darker haired younger girls and that was it for me. Couldn’t believe how unprofessional and rude this place was.

Came here because I just moved back to the area and needed a nail trim for my dog. I’ve had a good experience in the past. They charged $44 for a nail trim which is outrageous. You’d think I was in River Oaks with these prices. I have never been charged this much in my 20 years of owning pets. Needless to say, I won’t be coming back. ??

Tender Paws is a great place to take your fur babies to get wonderful care. Everyone is so friendly , nice and helpful. The lady at the front desk who answers the phone is always nice and helpful. When I went in, the lady at front counter was so friendly. She told us all about the puppies that you have for sale. She told us the names of the other 2 digs and even help up Echo so we could see her. This is truly the best place for your fur babies.

I cannot say enough great things about this office! We called everywhere trying to get in today and Natalie got us in at 9 am. Her, Dr. Byrd and the staff saved our cats life today from a pretty severe urinary blockage! They called us all through the day with updates and never once did I feel like they were rushing to tell me information or get me off of the phone.Thank you so much Tender Paws staff, for helping us today! You have gained new lifelong customers!

Not a fan of price gouging. Office visit, anti-biotic and a culture close to $500. I voiced my disgust and they said corporate sets pricing. Even one of the employees said that if they didn’t work there, she wouldn’t bring her pet there……. We won’t be back.Good luck corporate…..

Had used another local vet clinic in the area for years, but Tender Paws was much closer to our home and decided to try them. Brought my dog in for overdue shots and checkup. Turns out he also had an infection in one ear. Between the tech and Dr. Gerrard, everything he needed was thoroughly explained. They were also upfront with the cost of individual items, before any treatment was performed. The facility was very clean, and the staff was friendly and caring, I felt at ease with them and thought their fees were very reasonable. Thank you Dr. Ashley G. and staff.
