We had a rather disappointing experience at the bank as we entered and found ourselves waiting for 30 minutes without any acknowledgment or assistance from the staff. Despite observing bank employees moving back and forth, they showed no interest in offering their help or addressing our needs. Consequently, we made the decision to take our business elsewhere, and we are pleased with that choice, as we received better service elsewhere. I would not recommend this bank based on my experience.

Went in to see about opening an account. There are three different buildings with no clear markings as to what offices are inside. While walking from one building to another I noticed a security guard following me which I wouldn't have had a second thought about except the fact that they were openly and obviously following me. All through my visit this guard followed me like I was going to rob the place. Certainly won't be banking here regardless if it was my race or clothing or whatever else they saw as suspicious, it's not like I was wearing a ski mask or carrying a long gun or wearing body armor there's no reason to go out of your way to make a prospective customer feel like they are doing wrong by being there.

When I think of Texas I think Land of the Free and protections of my rights as an American. Spirit of Texas Bank should change there name because they don’t protect you to care about your finances!!!! Business and personal banking needs, RUN!From my experience the last 10 months with this bank; my financial rights have been taken away and my business / personal information has been exposed. Julie Randolph the VP of the Spirit of Texas Bank in Houston TX Post Oak; has lied to me, led me and my business down a faulty path of FALSE expectation, about what type of funding this bank can provide, and frankly used me for MY intellectual property as I have been calling, texting, emailing her office in hopes of a follow up from our several conversations of this bank funding different loans for my business. She has ignored me and for months kept saying she needed more time. After 8month of no results I am led to believe this woman was using me and I am scared for my identity and theft of my information.last communication with this bank was in September. I have called and been transferred to her office, receptionist, and heard NOTHING BACK. I had to personally fund multiple locations due to her inability to do her job and communicate with me. I am a small business owner and trusted this bank as a potential huge part of being able to get into the beginning steps of my franchises. HIGHLY HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED and again, scared for my rights as an American small business owner just trying to make a difference in our texas communities and hopefully the nation with my businesses. I WILL NOT BE WORKING WITH THIS BANK EVER AGAIN. Don’t come here if you need any type of loan or a trusting bank. I mean, the VP is as d*** as sticks and can’t even make proper eye contact when meeting or simply call back! Not professional or worth anyone’s time!
