I walked into the smart style salon and was not greeted two stylist were on the phone and I spoke to one but she just ignored me and when she finally answered my request about an opening to trim my ends she stated she doesn't do "ethnic" hair so rudely.The other stylist Betty just walked out and the one I continued a conversation with (Jenifer) just kept telling me she doesn't do black people hair and that another lady does but she will be in Tuesday if I wanna come back...It was so disgusting and unprofessional l asked her what the corporate number was and she told me it was a franchise and dismissed me I left the salon and went somewhere else .

I have been to this salon in the past with no issues. Today they refused to see me because the stylist doesn’t know how to do a “halo dye”. Which is where you literally just dye the first inch at the hairline. They would not allow me to explain, show pictures or anything. “She doesn’t know how to do it.” was the excuse I was given over and over, and I wasn’t even permitted to speak to the stylist myself. I will not return.

Just stopped in for an eyebrow waxing....2 employees there and both were sitting in chairs on their phones. I was told there was no time today for eyebrow waxing. I was in the store for over an hour....not 1 customer in Smart Style the whole time. I asked for the managers name and hours and one employee was very nice, the other was yelling something at me as I walked out the door of Walmart. Worst customer service ever.

Consuelo has been cutting my hair for a couple of years and always does a good job on my short Bob cut. I decided to try something new and asked for a very short cut similar to Jamie Leigh Curtis or Judy Dench and did she ever deliver! I have never had so many compliments on my hair. Consuelo has a customer for life!

I had made an appointment and when i got there probably 5 mins earlier, told them what I wanted and they said they straight up said no and not even a reason as to why not, a complete waste of time, and they were very rude about it too

Understaffed, only 2 people working, and yet they purposely double book multiple people for the same time slot. Don't go here unless you have at least an hour+ to wait on them being late on the previous appointment. Oh, and they do not care, they never make eye contact or speak to the customers waiting. Just don't go here, I can promise you won't like the (lack of) service and extreme over charging. No shampoo, 15 minute clip job, cut only, NO blow dry of any kind, not even minimal, and YET it was $40. Very very bad service here.Service: Haircut

I WAS a happy regular customer at this location for several years pre-COVID. Post-COVID the price for a cut and color DOUBLED AND the hairdresser's cut quality deteriorated dramatically, and her coloring skill was awful giving me an unwearable unnatural color. I felt compelled to go home and use a color remover then apply another color to try to compensate for the frightful shade the hairdresser left me with. This salon has permanently lost me as a customer.

Stop by yesterday to see what time they open today so I could get highlights and shop at 9 o'clock and I'm waiting for them to open. The Walmart employee explains to me that they rarely open on time and so I make myself known and here it is nearly 920 she has not even acknowledged me and is working on the cash register to get things opened, but the chain still closed and completely avoiding dealing with me at all. I will not be returning.

If I could rate Zero I would. I made my appointment on line early in the AM. Stylest called in, okay the women said she could take me. Get there explained what I wanted 3 times cuz she could bearly speak or understand English. 15 minutes of himmm n haws she can only do the cut and color not the highlights. 2nd time I've been here and walked out because of the issues. Never again, NEVER AGIAN. Just pay the money to go to a nice salon.

First visit was ok but the 2nd appointment didnt happen. Made an appointment a month in advance with Alisa for a out of town wedding. She canceled 45 minutes before the appointment saying she was booked. Huh? I made the appointment the month prior. Informed her I was going out of town the next day and crickets. She did not try to correct her scheduling mistake. If a customer is late or miss an appointment they have to reschedule or pay a late fee, what happens when the stylist cancels because they over booked themselves? Such an inconvenience and horrible customer service.Service: Hairstyling

Absolutely love Ms. Alisa!!! First silk press in a few years and she did an amazing job. It turned out beautiful, silky straight and soft. She has such a beautiful spirit and it was a blessing to be in her chair. My first time, but definitely not my last.
