DO NOT BRING YOUR FUR BABIES HERE FOR GROOMING!!!! My normal groomer was not available this weekend, so I thought I’d bring my baby here. I was quoted online $86 for the cut/wash/materials. When I picked her up they charged me $121! The price sheet had two separate charges for brushing, one $15 and the other $10. They said they automatically add those charges and even though they don’t add it to the online price. She said the other $10 was for her hair being longer and she had a couple of mats she had to cut with the sheers. They were just making excuses for charging $25 extra. One of the groomers interrupted my conversation with the lady who was assisting me and was rude and argumentative. Even the lady at the cash register agreed with me and said to talk to them about taking off the double charge and they wouldn’t. This was about $30 more than my usual groomer, so I will not be returning and I wish I had never taken her to begin with.

Nice store, never overcrowded. Employees have always been pleasant. I have brought my dog there several times to have his nails trimmed, and they do a good job.

Honestly, every interaction I've had with the employees in my two years of going to this store have been fanatical. Genuinely give me the feeling of a team of individuals who are there to help me and not just make a sale. I go in for one thing, they offer their advice on better alternatives based on hearing what I'm trying to accomplish. Sometimes it costs more but the quality is so much better. Sometimes it costs less because I had planned for more than I really needed. Shop here for your pets needs, though not for the animals they sell. I say this for my own personal opinion on their suppliers for the animals, and not to persuade anyone one way or another. I implore you to do your own research if you so choose to and not base your adoption or lack there of on my opinions. But their products are good, and their staff informative. I look forward to continuing to shop here for the rest of my stay here in Conroe.

This Petco is consistently filthy and the customer service is atrocious! My husband was trying to purchase meal worms that were alive in the 50 CT container. He was forced to search through a number of them due to deceased meal worms! Then, at the cashier the employee made the comment, " that looks like more than 50 worms". Excuse me! If we were liars and theives, we certainly would not steal meal worms!

Just got our dogs groomed last week. They look ok but not much better than I could have done at home. Took them to “professionals” for 2 things specifically; trim their nails which resulted then cutting my male’s too short and causing him to bleed and getting their anal glands expressed which is clear they didn’t do. Super frustrating since grooming isn’t cheap and I could have spent that money elsewhere at a groomer where they would have done what was promised in the package.

The staff at this location are always very friendly, and ask if there's anything they can help with. There's a nice selection of everything we could possibly need for our fur babies.
