The most horrible experience purchasing an appliance I have ever had. Ordered item on 6/15/2024, the item sat for 10 days at the store awaiting pickup by installation company. I was never contacted by the installer. I could not contact the store because they continued to hang up on me because they were too busy to take my call. So I went to the store and was told the installer would call me to set up. Received a call on 7/9/2024 that installation would be on 7/10/2024. Worked from home to ensure I was available. Installer never arrived and did not call. Cancelled item and reordered from Home Depot!

I went in to exchange a spade shovel under their "Lifetime Hassle-Free Guarantee." The handle failed making the shovel unusable. I was asked to produce a receipt to which I replied it was long gone as I had purchased the shovel a few years ago. I pointed at the sticker on the shovel and told them they had exchanged it for me once before. They refused and said I had to call "Kobalt" for an exchange. Kobalt isn't a company. It's simply the Lowe's house brand. I guess they thought I was stupid. When I asked for a phone number, I was told to do a Google search for it. I guess Hassle Free apples to Lowe's and not the customer. Thanks for nothing, Kuulei and Jo.

Don’t come here. They only have self check out and only one person working the several stalls. Multiple people need assistance, but the one worker is hung up with a guy who is obviously having a difficulty. 30 minutes to check out with no assistance is absolutely unacceptable.

Lowe’s will send a contractor to you house to install a washing machine. The contractor will have neither a driver license nor insurance.
He will drive off your driveway, get stuck and damage your asphalt trying to get unstuck.
Neither Lowe’s or the contractor will take any responsibility for driveway repairs or landscaping.

Edited: "Lowe's is the best for veterans.
If you qualify, you get 10% off. There is special parking for purple heart recipients as well as regular veterans.
There selection is pretty good with fancier stuff than the orange colored diy place. ?"
So, I wrote that review 5 years ago. What I found troubling are the self service registers.
There's several of them and 1 attendant. Best to head to the garden center or customer service for full service cashier.
Aside from that, it's still a great place with some items costing less than the "Orange" box store.

The last few times I've been to the store and purchased items I've been disappointed. I bought bags that I thought were soil because it said soil on the outside of the bag but when I opened the bag it was more like mulch. I bought several bags of heirloom seeds that produce nothing. Signed up for their rewards program but when I went to purchase items, my phone number didn't work so I didn't get the rewards.

This store just keeps getting worse, I guess all the self check outs are because the surveys show how rude the cashiers are, heck the whole store is rude, can’t find anyone to help. Home Depot here I come.
