Every time I go into Lowes, the employees at this store impress me. Courteous, helpful, knowledgeable. I got to Lowes today to buy a generator RIGHT as the truck made the delivery. I was fifth in line. These employees worked their butts off to get those generators off the truck, along with the gas cans, kept all the customers updated and made it orderly and very easy to get the generator. Well done Lowes, well done. Thank you for such stellar customer service.

Shout out to Cristian in the lumber section! We needed help with cutting some boards, and he made everything so easy! All the employees were exceptionally friendly as well ?

I normally don't review hardware stores but this is an exception. My wife and I visited the store in search of a replacement for our fridge as it was on its last leg. We placed an order on a new fridge with the expectation that it would be delivered in two days early in the morning. To our surprise, not only did no one show up, but after calling the store we learned that it was cancelled. With no alert, or communication they failed to deliver. After visiting the website we learned that they raised the price of the same fridge. Basically the store cancelled the order so they could get more money from us.

Lowe’s online shopping really fail me. The other half of the blame goes to the Kohler Generator supplier. I order a Kohler Generator on Jun 11, 2024, the estimated delivery date was scheduled for June 23, 2024. The tracker info shows has order getting ready. I know date was estimated, so I scheduled the installation for the end of June. Since no update was provided on the app or tracking number, I call the Lowe’s Kingwood store and after transfer from Kingwood store to Kohler store to Lowe’s HQs… where I did found a very helpful lady, sadly you was only able to provide me with the information that my order was delay until August 2,2024. Almost two months and I find out because I call. Then I look in their website and I see the same Kohler Generator with a delivery date of July 1-5. So, I went to the Kingwood store to ask why I was not notify and why I can’t get my generator between July 1-5. Their answer , since I ordered online they have no control, if I had ordered through the store then they can track it. What that tells me “don’t order online if you need it by certain time”. If I do… I will used Home Depot, so far they had being more responsive and on time with my online orders. The excuse for the delay on my Kohler Generator order (generator set with transfer switch) they had on their system is that they need it to exchange the transfer switch. I’m like “WHAT!!!” … transfer switch? I can get that at another location or even the installer. That’s a very unreasonable excuse or reason. Both Lowe’s and Kohler lost a $7000 sale… since a canceled my order. Same for other items I need it. I used another generator dealer- I order a Generac on Thursday and will be deliver on July 3rd. FYI - this rating goes to the Lowe’s store, not their employees. I had good experience in most of their stores and employees in the Kingwood Store. Lowe’s failed to track my order, provide updates and tell me ahead of time that it got delayed. Not wait for me to call.

Yesterday 6/27/24 my granddaughter which is 7 and myself witnessed and heard commotion in the lawn and garden area of the store. This commotion could have ended quickly and we would not have had to listen to a customer rant and curse about lack of customer assistance, if the employee would have just helped the customer load their truck. The employee just stood there looking like an intimidating member of a swat team and not a Lowe's employee. The only thing the customer was requesting repeatedly was assistance loading his full cart of merchandise into his truck. I myself could not get any assistance when looking for merchandise in your store. A very unpleasant visit to say the least.

I can never get anyone to assist me. They will walk right past you as if they are doing it intentionally. Takes forever to get checked out also.

These self checkouts are a waste of time and annoying. It took money from me the other day and then the system glitched in the middle of my transaction. An employee had to move me to another machine to start again. The cameras are invasive. Shame on you guys for putting these in instead of having real humans. I bnb used to love shopping at Lowes, but not anymore.

this passed visit to the Lowes in conroe was one of the worst experiences I've had in the store, the clerk working art the self checkout was so blatant behavior of focusing on my of my wife and I as we checked out she acknowledged other customers checking out large ticket items, even too the point coming over to the both and rescan items the had been scared

This rating is for online orders. I will only buy what's on the shelf from now on. Picked up an online app order yesterday. The gal at the pick up counter handed me one box. After arriving home and unboxing, there was only 1 of 2 items ordered in the box. Trying right now to get this rectified and was on the phone for 30 minutes and still no one available to tend to this. Called back again and the girl said "can I put you on a brief hold" which is now 16+ minutes long. I will stick to my tried and true supplier that drops it at my doorstep.
Edit: replying to Lowe's response - I already called your toll free number as it was listed on another review and was told I have to go back to the store or stay on hold until someone picks up to help with the matter. So you might quit suggesting that to people as a positive "oh, you'll definitely get help" because it's not accurate information.

Came in to buy replacement blind for the bedroom, the lady said they don't cut the blinds to width, it has to be done at home. I have bought blinds there many times and had no problem having them cut to the window width.
Also, open some more regular checkouts, only self checkouts were open.

We are new to the area and ordered some appliances to be delivered a couple of weeks before we arrived. The store confirmed our order and then followed up in the days before the delivery to confirm our address. We initially placed two separate orders as we made decisions on the items at different times. We were concerned we'd have to be available for separate trucks to deliver our items, but Lowe's conveniently placed everything on one truck for delivery! Our window was from 8-11a. We received a call around 8:30a advising they were on their way. Two employees showed up to deliver and install our appliances. They worked quickly, were careful or our walls and fixtures, and were polite. The delivery and installation went very well. We ordered two different cords for our dryer, not knowing which one we needed. Only one was used and the other was not left behind, but we were billed for both. A quick call to the store, and a refund for the second non-used, non-delivered cord was issued. Overall, a great experience! Looking forward to visiting again in the future as this is our new local Lowe's!

Lowe’s has figured out a way to make more money. If you lose the receipt and pay cash you CAN NOT get your money back and you are stuck with useless merchandise. As much money as I have spent at Lowe’s you would think they would still put it on a gift card at the very minimum. I hate this place.
