I really like this store. It’s calming to walk around here every now and then. I have found some pretty decent items here for myself and my husband. The sales are always great too!

Worst experience ever! Employees making fun of a disabled person calling her helen keller and then opened a credit card in my name when i was told it was from a pre approval all at the jewelry department. When trying to complain the phone number given doesn’t let you talk to anyone to complain. This needs to be fixed i have been coming to this location since it was opened and i have never had the worst people in my community there absolutely disgusting women at this location

Omg!!! I just took my mother-in-law into the Conroe, Texas location to get her a pair of shoes for her birthday and a sleep set for Mother's day.
We saw two women chatting at the jewelry stand. I thought one was a customer, so i didn't want to interrupt but my mother-in-law forgot her walker, so we couldn't really wait for them to finish chatting.
I asked where the shoes were and they BOTH responded! So, they BOTH work there. Why wouldn't all employees greet customers when they walk in, or pass by or stand there and wait? Because chatting is more important that sales or customer satisfaction. Not one employee said hello or even made eye contact with us!! The cashier did not smile at all.
But, we were there for shoes.
We found some slip-on sketchers and pj's. Easy peasy.
Heading to the checkout, I saw Wet brushes in the line to checkout. I bought two.
During checkout, I thought I heard $109.
I decided to look at my account when I got home. It was $190!!!! What was so expensive?
The Wet brushes!!! Twenty dollars each!!! They DOUBLED THE PRICE!!! I'm so angry😠 😡 😤!! I have five of them. They were $10 a piece!
Luckily, I never shop at JC Pennys. We were desperate for the shoes because she's from California and forgot hers as she also forgot her pjs. SAS Shoes just closed so JC Penny's was it.
We were just passing by and for convenience sake, stopped there.
If she wasn't leaving in three days, I would've ordered this stuff on Amazon.
This is why I do not shop retail or local. Amazon, for now, is just more affordable.
This place has never really made me happy and I like to have a nice experience when I'm shopping. I like it when I'm greeted by employees. I buy more. The employees here need better customer service satisfaction training.
Or just SMILE and say HELLO... to the customers, of course!

I wanted to purchase a bracelet for our last child graduating, turning 18 and leaving for college. Unfortunately I was looked over, not even a hello or good morning as I heard the two women in the jewelry department addressing others. I adore my jewelry from Penny's but this has really left a bitter memory. The jewelry attendant even called for help from another employee, an older lady had walked in I had been there since the two gentleman and she told the employee no the older lady is first. That really sealed the deal. The older lady knew I was already there but she made no effort to do what was right either.

Was at the Conroe location on 3/21/25 for some summer shopping. Rebekah helped me at check out. Rebekah was friendly and professional. Great job, thank you!

I love Ahmen at Penney’s hair salon in Conroe. She has been cutting my hair for years. She always does a great job and understands the unique quirks of my hair. I heartily recommend her services.

Nice clean large store and pleasant staff! My first experience with them ordering online and picking up in store went great. Much faster then expected and just what I hoped for in shoes. Will certainly do this again
