I used go in here on my lunch break and always found great stuff. Now they are asking for higher prices than a retail store is. It’s all donated so you’d think they would price lower to help out the community. It’s gotten so expensive, you can purchase new stuff for cheaper! Someone needs to check the manager or whoever is pricing the items.

Would not do community service hours here again. The lady at the front told me to go to lunch and that I didn’t have to sign out while someone else took an hour off my time for that. (Was gone for 10 minutes tops because whataburger is a minute walk away)

I tried to donate a bunch of items from their list of items accepted and all I heard was no. Shingles-oh you are missing one, we cant take it. Electrical wire new in package sorry cant take it. Cabinet hinges sealed, new in package. Yea didnt take them either. Brand new PVC plumbing fixtures such as flanges, caps, and tees. Yea not this place. Landscape drainage new in package. Forget it they dont take it either. CO2 and smoke detectors new in package, you guessed it dont bring them here. Habitat you are a joke, i have been a strong supportor of you since you were by MLK park in Conroe. You have lost me, I wont be back.

I think this is a really good place to help people get started especially if they are building a house on a budget or moving in on a budget so helpful

The staff is rude and acts like you are bothering them to ask a question about item etc. The prices are ridiculously high .. I have shopped Habitat store in many other states and never had this experience of rude employees and outrageous prices . The employees just sit around on the furniture and stare at you as if you are pissing them off to be in the store . I used to get very nervous before I went there because of way I have been treated in past. After reading reviews I can see I'm not the only shopper who feels this way . I just can't shop there anymore , it's so abusive ... Sad because I loved going to Habitat. So now I drive to Austin stores, it's worth the drive from Houston to the Austin Habitat stores !!

Have purchased several lamps here previously and staff including Gary are great! Purchased a light fixture today with light bulbs. Light bulbs sold extra, not a problem but had a sneaky employee name DENNIS FEELY walk up to us wanting to help us. He removed the light bulbs to test for us so we thought but instead was testing for HIMSELF. DENNIS then took light bulbs directly to cashier and paid 1.00 each for expensive bulbs, per HIS pricing. Then he proceeds to leave store and place in his car while more than likely still on the clock because he walked back in the store as the store was still open. Buyer beware of their shady practices. If we could give them a minus star we would.

Lots of stuff for your house. Some new, some used. Run with lots of volunteers. Money goes to a good cause.

I needed a hanging light for enclosed, front porch and not break the bank. Over 30 hanging light fixtures, from one light bulb to eight light bulbs. They even had light fixtures that were brand new in the box, unopened. Then they had a 20% Off sale on light fixtures today. A three light, hanging fixture for $20.00. Sold! The people who say prices are higher than new don't have a clue what they are talking about. I hope they don't shop there. More good items for me.
