04/06/24 Around 8:40 pm my sister in law(19) her friend (19) & I (21) went inside to purchase a gift for a family members 21st birthday my sister in law & her friend on their cell phones, were minding they’re own business. They didn’t touch or hold any liquor.. We get up to the register & the cashier a white lady around her late 50s to early 60s asked all three of us for our id . We were puzzled and then explained to her that i (21) was purchasing the liquor not them. She told me that she wouldn’t sell ME the liquor because they weren’t over the age of 21?. I explained that I would be purchasing the liquor not them and that i had an id. She instead that they leave the store if i wanted her to sell it to me.. That’s just beyond crazy to me if i had walked inside with my 3 year old would she have made me sit her outside while i make a purchase ? Please have this lady retake her tabc!! if a minor is accompanied by an adult and the minor does not touch or hold the liquor they may enter the premises . This was very disappointing i won’t be coming back.
