This is my second visit and I am happy with them. All of the staff are very friendly and my pups seem to be relaxed. When I have scheduled an appointment, I have not had to wait long to be called back. I have transferred all my pups records to this vet office. Very happy with their service.

My son took his cat there last week. Max had quit eating. After tests etc we were told he had cancer. We had him for 14 years but couldn't let him suffer. My son told them he wanted to have him cremated and a box with his ashes. We kept waiting for them to call is to pick up his ashes. My son finally called and was told there was a "misunderstanding" that he did not want his ashes. I am livid!!! Why would you have your pet cremated and NOT want their ashes back. We are heartbroken needless to say. I would never recommend that place for anything. Heartless and uncaring and inept.

So glad I gave them a chance despite some of the bad reviews. The vet & staff at West Davis are fantastic. Being a new puppy mom, I was very nervous about taking my baby somewhere new. The girls at the front desk and the vet techs have been so patient with all my questions and phone calls. Stormi & I are customers for life.

We moved to the area 1 year ago and it was time to take our elderly ladies to the vet. We struggled a bit wondering who we could trust. Asking others gave us so many different opinions and no solution. To yelp we went, trusted their reviews, and were not disappointed. From the first hello with Skylar, to Jaime, and Dr. Lynne (shout out to RI!), the care and consideration here was top notch. Nice prescription store and easy visit. They went out of their way to make us, and our cats, feel welcome and comfortable!

Seven months ago, our Isabella was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor on her upper left paw. Surgery was done and recovery went well. I had submitted a great review of how Dr. Rildaris & entire staff had been beyond exceptional! Now, our Isabella's mast cell condition is beginning to spread some. She is still eating, playful and doing ok for now. I just wanted to again send a review of how the ENTIRE staff has and is STILL are the very BEST ever!! Dr. Lynne has been amazing with her calls, medical direction, etc... along with the other staff who have always treated us like 'family' with genuine concern and kindness! There is NO other vet clinic for us... we have the VERY BEST right now. Both our cats, Isabella & Tommy, are thrilled too that we chose West Davis!

We were impressed with the quality of care we received at this practice. Our cat will be 14 yrs in April and can be feisty. She had been throwing up her food for about 9-10 days even though normal in all other areas but we knew we had to take her in to see the vet. The vet tech was kind and drew the blood they needed without being scratched. What a relief! I have been coming here since Dr Lippke so it's been over 25 years. I've always had first rate service and never a misdiagnosis. I'll continue to return. Thank you!

I will NEVER bring either of my cats back to this office. If I could give negative stars, I would. I brought my kitten in for a spay, understanding that this is a common procedure. I choose this place, originally, because the reviews were 'seemingly' great and we had originally taken her there when we rescued her. I, first, had to argue with the receptionist about whether she had leukemia bloodwork done (as we have a 13 year old male cat, it was one of the first things we had done). Finally, she was able to 'find it'. Then when asking about whether to get the other blood work done, we were only told 'its recommended, not required' over and over. No information on what it was, whether she needed it, what would happen if we did or didn't do it. We decided to do the blood work anyway because we just wanted her to be safe and comfortable. We spent close to $400 on the spay, rabies and bloodwork which was fine, the money was worth it for her to be taken care of. Afterwards, she was sent home with two pills of onsior and a spaced out paper of after care instructions. When asked 'what if she licks at the stitches', we were just told 'oh, its uncommon'. Nothings was given to us to help prevent her from doing so. The only instructions given on the paper were 'calls us if this happens'. Of course, it did on Monday when the roads were iced over (I'm in no way faulting them for the weather as we also went out of power for hours). We had to take her to an emergency clinic twice to be stapled and given pain medication and antibiotics which costs us another $250(again, the money was worth it for her to be healthy). When I called and spoke to the office manager about how I felt even this 'uncommon' situation could've been avoided had we been given better instructions, or a preventive measure to ensure we didn't have to be in this 'uncommon' situation, their true colors came out. She was completely condescending on the phone saying 'well, im sorry your little kitty pulled her stitches out'. Please, don't mistake her for actually meaning that apology because the tone was beyond demeaning. She also said cats will lick at their stitches. Wait, I thought that was 'uncommon'? She said if I wanted the 'preventative measures' I could've came back in for an ecollar at an extra cost. I told her it felt as if our cat was an out of sight, out of mind condition. She completely shift blamed the situation, saying we didn't follow protocols (why would I go through all of this not to follow protocols). She was absolutely condescending, telling us how 'great' they are in the community and basically it boiled down to being our fault. I asked if I brought my child in for a surgery, did she think this kind of behavior would be acceptable for the professionals over my child's care. Once again, she shifted the conversation saying 'IF YOUR CHILD DOCTORS OFFICE IS CLOSED YOU TAKE THEM TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM' (I already explained, we did this twice). I've never once called an establishment and been demeaned or spoken to as condescendingly as this encounter. When I just wanted answers or to say maybe consider that these 'uncommon situations' occur and to equip people better. The refuse to look at the situation and say 'there was something more we could've done to protect and care for this animal in our care'. Completely unprofessional, completely neglectful and I will never come back. I'm sure the response, if any, will only, once again, be them finding a way to say it wasn't their fault. I read post where they do the same exact thing to anyone who say they were even slightly at fault. Feel free to believe them at the cost of your animal.

The vet I usually go to didn't have any appointments and my baby was really sick. I called West Davis Vet and they had an opening. At first I had doubts about this place the reviews are okay, but I'm very picky with vets or technicians because I'm scared they might not treat my baby right. I waited outside near the door since I forgot that I had to call before arriving. After filling out the paper work they didn't take long to take him to the back my dog has bad separation anxiety and they talked to him and that helped I think he didn't even cry for me. Even when I picked him up as the technician was leaving he cried, he didn't want her to leave. I had to take him back the next day and he did good, they let me go inside to put him in the kennel but before that they put a muzzle on him they didn't even struggle to put it on him as they usually do they called it a "party hat" once again talking to him in a friendly voice. Now my pup is feeling much better thanks to them!

I took my bunny here to get neutered & they were wonderful. The vet was very familiar with exotic pets & I felt very comfortable allowing her to do the procedure. I would definitely recommend for rabbits & bunnies

Everyone is super nice and really cares about your pet. Recently we revived a call from them that they had signed us up for something to do with our dog having diabetes and they had some items for us. They gave us a free glucose meter, food and insulin and saved us a large chunk of money right at Christmas. We are really happy with their care and service and would highly recommend them.

I feel a need to educate others . I found this clinic after spending months preparing 2 Medical Alert service dogs to travel to Hawaii for a 20 yr fundraiser for a non profit I helped to build. It took months of prep as I set up files with Dept of Agriculture to travel to a rabies free state, got rabies titer test, documented training of service dogs, annual shots and just need their health certificates from West Davis 10 days before travel. They were cordial on phone emailed me the forms to fill out 4 days before Appt, so the paperwork would be complete , they even called to confirm they received the microchips, shot records, address of current as well as Hawaii address that took me 30 min to get all records correct. The disaster then emerged !!,,...... when I arrived for my Appt 15 min ahead of time I was told I needed to fill out forms again and was not put in a room because one needed to be cleaned. I was asked to wait for a moment on a bench to start on paperwork. While waiting a crazy cat screeched through the entry followed by apologizing worker, another customer came in with ill dog and was put into the room cleaned for me. I sat getting all the paperwork completed for a 2nd time and was taken with Vet tech into room. Vet was nice exam well and was given a draft of paperwork filled out incorrectly. I refused it as it did not have my name on it just a handler traveling with me explained I was owner / trainer and needed that documented as Dept of Ag has my records in Hawaii set up that way. while they corrected paperwork was asked to go to pay I had a panic attack. very unstable my anxiety grew to dizziness they did not recognize when my bill was $500, because they had done so much work? seriously the straw that caused my second panic attack was the vet handing me the certificate and saying sorry we just found the paperwork you sent in last week sorry for the inconvenience ( I had just spent 1 1/2 hrs there OMG I walked to car unable to drive had to sit 15 min with my service dog to come out of fog. Drove to my healing therapist that was amazed I could drive and she worked with me over an hour before feeling comfortable from me to drive. ONLY TO GET HOME TO FIND 6 ERRORS ON THE $450 CERTIFICATE THEY HANDED ME. TOOK ME A PHONE CALL AND 6 HRS THE NEXT DAY FOR THE NEW CERT THEY HAD ME RETURN TO PICK UP . I AGAIN WAS TOLD THAT WAS THEIR STANDARD FEE. I am turning it in to better business bureau as overcharging for a new electronical Health Cert system they have implemented and customers now pay the bill. Never will return . 65 yrs old with ADHD, Depression -Anxiety Panic Attack disorder disability, Challenged to put this behind me forgive but never to forget!!!!!!!!!!!!!
