They said my results would take 24-48 hours. It's been over a week, I can see my results, no one has called me. I've tried calling them a dozen times, a collective 2-3 hours of waiting and no response.
Update: It took me over 2 weeks to get my results and I had to call them (numerous times).
They still don't answer unless you wait roughly 40 minutes.
Why is the VA always shit.

I have been going to conroe va clinic for almost 3 years, i drive there from kingwood. At first i could get in and be seen fairly quick. Now it is like 3 months to get seen by my doctor. And also you used to be able to go in anytime to get labs done, now it's also at least 2 weeks to get them done. I have always been treated very nice by all of the staff. Truely the 2 complaints i have is,#1 the length of time you have to spend on hold to try and make an appointment, and #2 the length of time it takes to see your doctor.

Good luck getting in touch with anyone here. If you have a medical issue that needs attention, they will make sure it it progresses to the point of critical before you hear from anyone. I hate this place. It's a shame how this country treats its veterans.

Supposed to get a consult for a molar that has a hole in it and they keep on telling me that somebody’s going to call me called me and asked me what my preference was and I told him after 10 AM. They still continued to call me Before 8 AM. It’s just like talking to a wall, trying to change the colors and it comes out the same color. Now I have to get with my dentist to have him put another consult in so now I have to start all over again. I hope it’s not gonna be the same process.

Get here early, like they said, and we are still sitting here. Why come early if we have to sit here forever, nothing to eat or drink for 88 years old. First time here last time here.

First off, it takes forever to get an appointment, 2nd don't book anything virtually bc 9xs out of 10 it won't happen and everyone blames another person or department.. its ABSOLUTELY disgusting how they treat the men and women who defend and fight for our freedom...

There is nothing about emergency if you visit the emergency dental at this location. I’ve been with the VA for over 25 years and have been treated at multiple facilities. I’ve never had to wait 2 hours and never get called for a broken tooth. I walked out as I ran out of time. Zero urgency given. Waisted 4 hours total with drive time.

It's not lost on me that leaving a review to a government social service is pointless but maybe I'll help someone who reads these. The VA does not care about you. You are a number and if you sign up you will join a sea of vets that, likewise, will be bogged down by bureaucracy. I get hung up on, minimum treatment, extremely long waits, you name it. Go find something that pays well, as hard as that is, and pay for your well-being. These people don't care about you, it's not designed that way. Best of luck to you, you won't find it here.

Always have a good experience with the receptionist and staff. Sometimes there’s an additional weight but never too bad. I enjoy going here

It would be nice when I call someone would answer the damn phone. I've called since Friday and no one answers the phone each time I dated 30 min and no answer.

This clinic has been good to me for many years.
However, the funding and staff needs increased due to the area growing so quickly. Conroe is a central point to a large county with a very high count of veterans needing medical service
I hope someone important sees this!!!

The disservice of this facility to veterans is horrendous. 2 hours to wait for a patient advocate on site? After being lied to about them leaving at 2pm. Refusal to provide referrals the Emergency Room deems necessary with medical records provided. Failure to make follow up appointments and cancels appointments day prior. Where in the hell do they find these employees. 22 veteran suicides a day fix the broken system and do your damn job! Serving humus to veterans in the lobby isn’t helping. Read the medical charts and do no harm! That’s your duty. The level of incompetence is astounding and every single one of you should be ashamed for making healthcare so difficult to get. For anyone whose healthcare rights have been violated such as “continuity of care”, document, document, document and file a complaint with the OIG, The Joint Commission, The Secretary of the VA in D.C. Don’t stop fighting.
