I have visited the Conroe location twice and both times the associates have been kind and helpful! They were also super sweet to my 5 year old, who was adamant about smelling every scent.My skin is very sensitive to fragrance, but these products are a game changer! They smell amazing and the laundry detergent is phenomenal. I highly recommend the scent ‘Narcissist’.

*slams credit card on counter* hi, my name is Allison & I think I've just become a Buff City Soap addict. What a cool place! I don't know what I was expecting, but this was far better than that. I just thought it was a little bar soap making place that had expanded to laundry products. This store is clean, organized, and so bright. They offer a wide variety of bath products from epsom salt, bar soap, and after shower lotion. They also have a full selection of laundry products and I even saw a candle.I really like that they have an area where they will make whatever scent you want into laundry detergent and I'm sure you can customize other products as well. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It's so easy to go in here & totally blow your budget. They're consistently coming out with new scents!

I stumbled across the store accidentally and decided to give them a try. I was a little apprehensive about trying their products as I tend to be allergic to anything with perfumes however, they use plant based ingredients so I decided to give it a shot. I was happily surprised with my purchase ( commando scent booster) and will be returning soon to pick out a new scent as well! Very clean and welcoming storefront and the staff were kind and quick to assist with any questions I had.

The idea of merely finding a laundry detergent just as pleasant as the bar of soap you'd douse your skin with is pure satisfaction, I favored the Narcissist fragrance the most. Next, I'll try the Commando laundry detergent.

I am awarding two stars for my first visit to Buff City Soap on a rainy Sunday afternoon. I would have given one; however, the manager was pleasant and able to assist me unlike the two associates.I received a gift two weeks ago which I cannot use the bath bomb because I don't have a tub. I wanted to exchange it for something else in the store. You could clearly see the products had not been used, and I did not have a gift receipt. I made it clear with the first associate that this was an exchange; however, I had no idea the value of the gift box. She went to the back to retrieve the "manager". A young woman came out from the back and proceeded to tell me that she had no record of the transaction because her computer only went back to April 24. I asked her why that mattered, and she continued to stay glued to the computer rarely making eye contact with me and did not answer my question. She never smiled and was very uninterested in earning any future business from me. I asked her again why we could not exchange the products for something else in the store. Again, she replied with the April 24 story. At this point, we have wasted enough time on this situation, and I said, "Well, it appears I am stuck with a product I cannot use." She said I can't give you money. When exactly did I mention I wanted money?! I made it very clear when I spoke with the first person and again with the second person that I wanted to make an exchange, never once did I mention I wanted money. This was not a return - it was an exchange. Finally, the true manager appears and takes over. The second associate walks away - no apology, nothing from her. The manager makes a few clicks on the computer screen and informs me of the value, so I can make the exchange. I quickly chose an item and concluded the exchange. What should have taken a few minutes ended up taking 30-35 minutes.A word of advice - do not deal with the associates, only work with the manager because she is the only one in this store who actually listens to the customer and knows what is going on.

The bath bomb party was so fun! Stevie and Daisy walked us through the assembly process and hosted fun games while we waited for the bath bombs to dry. Decorating the bombs with fun colors at the end was my favorite part. I highly recommend trying the bath bomb party!

I liked buff city soap when it first opened at this location. Cheaper than bath and body works, smelled amazing, leaved you squeaky clean! Then after Black Friday, they upped the price! The last bar of soap I got (pink sugar) bleeds the color from the bar and makes my tub brown. I still love the smell, but I hate that the color bleeds! I also love the amount of samples I get with every purchase. Enough to provide house guests!

The store was very neat and organized. However, the employees could've been a little friendlier upon my arrival. The young lady who came over to check me out was very pleasant. She took her time to pack each box carefully since I told her that I was purchasing the items as gifts. She even included a few samples of laundry detergent and soap. That was greatly appreciated.About the products: I have the oatmeal and honey soap and I really enjoy using it. The island nectar shower oil is really delightful as well. I can put it on in the shower and smell it for quite a long time. I purchased the lavender soap for family members and the pomegranate-lemon scented bar as well. They both smelled so good. I purchased the soap sleeves for them as well. I thought that was such a clever idea.
