I took my 11 month old puppy to this facility. First thing they said to me “looks like your dog ingested THC or CBD” and after that they ran $1200 “lab work”.
No resolution.
Do not take your pet to this place - they just want your money.

A special thank you to all the ER staff from the front office to the multiple Drs that took great care of Gus who decided to ingest a trimming from a horse hoof this weekend that created all sorts of digestive issues. Although his care was great he was happy to come home.

I went once to the vet and twice to the er trying to figure out what’s wrong with my dog. Turns out he has cancer. As heartbreaking as this is my experience at this vet made this even more stressful. The front desk staff was very rude behind my back. The blonde Vicki or becki I don’t remember was complaining about my dog who has severe anxiety being loud when locked in their exam room. The pregnant one I didn’t catch her name was rolling her eyes looking at us when the vet was taking to us. I know my dog has anxiety so I asked to see him to calm him down so they would have a better chance at getting a urine sample. I waited 2 hours before I could even see my dog and ultimately had to get the urine same MYSELF. I was there from 10:30am-6:30pm for a urinalysis and an x ray. One vet with a bunch of tattoos seemed way more interested in the surgery cases when. I get it they are emergency surgery’s but they need a better system or to care about the ones who don’t need surgery as well. I don’t mind waiting I don’t but when I had to wait 2 hours to just get my dog in a room to cam him down so they could do everything faster I had problems. Especially when. The front desk staff was so rude. Oh and I had a 3 month old with me the whole time I was waiting.

Yall were adorable! You actually took care of my cat at the fraction of a cost the other Blue Pearl ER was trying to charge. Your staff is competent and so are your doctors. I felt well taken care of at the fraction of cost of other ER’s. Keep up the great work. I’m so glad I can bring my cat back in to be checked up and actually have my concerns taken seriously.

I highly recommend this Hospital. Just last night; my emotions were running high when my dog was injured and had a laceration on his chest. From the moment I walked in with my fur baby, the receptionist was very welcoming. We were called back and given a breakdown of what all that my dog needed, the Vet was very understanding of our finances and was able to work with us for the help that my little guy needed. They let me see him one last time before they kept him overnight. The staff is amazing, and I couldn’t have asked for a better team and care that my dog received that night.

Very disappointed in the care offered. My pet was bitten by a snake and they actually administered Benadryl! This is an old wives tale treatment. I’m mind blown. Then they didn’t even offer anything for immediate pain control. Last time we had a snake bite and went to blue Pearl. Hopefully there’s not a next time, but I’ll stick with the practice that actually uses evidence based medicine.
To note- the AKC website lists things not to do. They did two of them.

They're the only 24-hour ER in the area, serving us from Huntsville. They've helped keep alive our kitties who've been hurt and compassionately attempted to help out kitten/kittens in need. We lost only one (just this morning), and they helped her be at peace. They take Care Credit, they're clean, efficient, personable, compassionate, and helpful. In an emergency, everytime, they've come through.

I want to commend the staff here, specifically doctors Valentin Medina, Heidi Zinser, and Kelsey Winterman. Guys, you literally saved my dog's life with your quick, compassionate, and thorough care of his IMHA disorder over the 4th of July! He's happy and recovering nicely thanks to your help!

Dr. Medina and other staff - you have absolutely failed us. We brought our cat in and we were very adamant he had signs of poisoning although he “appeared fine when in the office”. We described to you absence seizures and vomiting, and we were unsure of what potential poisoning was. You didn’t offer to run any blood work, and you did not offer any fluids. You charged us $300 made a lazy assumption, and sent us home with medicine for vomiting, noting he “seemed fine”.
He wasn’t fine, and we lost crucial hours that could’ve been spent flushing his system.
Fast forward to when our usual vet was open - we bring him in, he’s in acute kidney failure due to poisoning. Our vet mentioned that if he had received fluids in your care, it would make a drastic difference in his condition. We are now unsure if he will make it as he’s in critical condition.
Let’s all say a huge prayer for our cat and hope he’s going to make it.
NEVER COME HERE.

Well… not the way I wanted to spend my Monday night, but so thankful for the kind and caring staff who treated my baby. Aubrey and Dr. Tiller both were so kind and helpful with discussing treatment options. I was overwhelmed and emotional and they were so patient with me during the entire visit.

They helped my pup, it was mediocre service and be warned they are very VERY expensive. They charged us for every little thing with a total of $783.30, however I spent only $367.30 at my usual vet with better service and care (East Montgomery County Animal Hospital), which was closed during our emergency. Please be very cautious especially if your on a budget.

I brought a dog with a torn ccl we initially thought was a bad reaction to an insect bite. I happened to bring him during the shift change (around 5am) and they promptly started pain management meds until the vet could see him. She called me to go over his condition and gave recommendations for an xray, which we approved and paid for. She called back when the results were in and gave us options for further treatment. She was very informative and I did not feel rushed when asking questions. Our dog was there for about 10 hours. He went home with some management medication. When I called back about possible adverse medication reaction, the staff was sympathetic and gave us some options. It's an emergency service, so it's going to be costly just like human emergency rooms. I'm happy we brought him there and stabilized him enough to figure out the best path moving forward. Staff is understanding and vet was knowledgeable. If I have another pet emergency I will be coming here again.
