We recently moved from The Woodlands, TX to Pagosa Springs, CO and overall we were very pleased with the service provided by Adams Transfer & Storage (Conroe, TX). Our belongings arrived safe and sound, no damage. It was not a perfect move, as they were delayed in getting our shipment to us due to a lack of willing drivers for our move route in the North American Van Lines network. Kudos to Bobby Adams, who personally drove the truck with one of his crew to us to complete the job.

We set an appointment for this company to move and gave a deposit. I spoke to two different people and went over square footage and all the large items to move including them charging me extra for certain items. Day before they pushed us back to later (12-3). They did not show until 530 pm. At this time the movers said they could not move us and left. The dispatcher called and said they thought it was just the items I paid extra for. She offered no solutions and left us with nothing. We ended up hiring another company, paid more money, and didn’t finish moving until 5 am. Do NOT hire this unreliable and unprofessional company!

I wish I never would've used this company or their third party that they hire to actually move everything. We were quoted then, day of it was more expensive already. Took an extra week to get from houston to Indiana, which I had to call and get updates they didn't let me know anything. They finally get to my mom's place and there's broken furniture, collapsed boxes, Missing tools, it was crazy. And when I tried to get ahold of someone they ran me around until the claim period was over and they refused to do anything. They hire thieves and will rip you off in a moments notice.

Do NOT use this company. Adams Transfer moved us to another state. We suffered major damage and loss to a lot of our possessions and furniture. In addition to all of the damage, they "lost" our electronics and other various furniture items, and claimed that they could not find them. We were told "sorry for the inconvenience". Basically they kept various items of our property, and refused to take responsibility for it, when we reported it missing. You will not retain all of your property in your move, with this disreputable company.

Adams Transfer & Storage Company did an amazing job with our move from Conroe to Orlando Florida. Bobby Adams came out and walked thru the process with us and provided a budget friendly quote. The movers did an excellent job packing us up, taking extra care and packing with fragile items. They were very professional and also personable. Our furniture and belongings were delivered on schedule as promised by an awesome driver & crew that unloaded everything and put it where I ask.We have never made a move of this caliber and would like to thank Adams Transfer & Storage Company for making it a great experience.

It was okay. I was looking for a more professional mover this time around, not sure I got it. They made me feel like second rate, didn't supply the number of people to make the move like they said because they sent people to another job. So I am guessing they overbooked. Ended up being no different than had I used an hourly company like 2 men and a truck or such, which is what I was wanting to avoid this time. So, 2 1/2 stars...

Very efficient, smooth, and stress-free move. They came when they said they would. Packed everything efficiently and fast. Everything was delivered on time and nothing was broken. Everyone I interacted with was polite and nice. They did a wonderful job.

This company just ripped off my daughter. Original quote was off by $2000. Took nearly a month to get her stuff to destination with no notification they were coming. She gave them her new phone number, as per normal didn’t change her email because you don’t do that…ridiculous owner. They gave her 15 minutes to call, she called in 4 minutes and her stuff was on the way to Washington DC…they are putting her stuff in storage and of course charging her for that ($800+) and won’t release it until she pays them. The worst!! Supposed owner very very RUDE. BEWARE WOMEN!

I want to thank Adams Transfer & Storage Co for a great commercial/office moving experience.The crew was on-time and very time efficient from start to finish. The movers were friendly and courteous, and put forth extra effort to make sure everything was properly wrapped/prepared and every item was moved with care. Very nice guys.Mr. Bobby Adams gave me a very competitive estimate beforehand, and the final invoice came in under estimate.I highly recommend Adams Transfer & Storage Co, and I'll confidently refer their services to my family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors.

Not so happy with these movers. We stored our stuff with them for several months in their warehouse which is supposed to be "climate controlled" some furniture was delivered warped. There were also several pieces of furniture damaged which of course we didn't catch until the day after we had the furniture delivered. Several pieces of furniture which required to be reassembled was half-a**, my husband had to buy screws and such to reassemble himself. Sub-par service, find another mover there are too many competitors out there to tolerate this sorry service.

I see quite a few negative comments in here that are definitely not meant for Adams Transfer. The company is great! I worked for them for 10 years. We have always done in person estimates. We have never had a "VIP" package. Adams Transfer would NEVER allow another company to unload their trailers! It is unfortunate that every bad review here is Provably NOT attributable to ADAMS TRANSFER. This is a great team!!
