Stayed in the house they have to rent at the Comstock Motel. It was a great experience. The room was clean, and the kitchen had a microwave, stove/oven with a full-size refrigerator and sink. 2 beds in the bedroom. The living room area had a recliner, couch, and table for 4 people. Overall, great experience, I only put 4 stars as there is always room for improvement. If you are in this area and need a place to stay, I highly recommend this motel.

Wanted to go to the Caverns of Sonora and then Seminole Canyon the next morning, so we spent the night here. It's a simple, clean, roadside motel. Not fancy, but the room had a comfortable bed, nice shower, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. There's a really good restaurant nearby and the owner was great. I would definitely recommend and will probably be staying there again on one of our trips to Big Bend.

Very pleased, owner very nice and personable. Room was cool, tv on, lights on when I got there. Clean and modern with good quality soap/shampoo, soft towels, Folgers coffee. I would highly recommend this place, oasis for sure!Store across street well stocked, recommend The Bar and Grill as few steps away for lunch/dinner.

Got cought up in the rain, wind and lighting storm last Saturday. Just needed a place to crash and let the weather pass. Front desk guy was great. Room was clean and comfortable.

Great 3 night stay at the Comstock Motel. Much thanks for the warm welcome, excellent customer service, clean room, and reasonable rate. Extras like the kitchenette, no-carpet floors and great hospitality earned my loyalty-- we will be back again and again ? Also a great place to see the stars ?

The owner and the staff were awesome, the room was clean and the air conditioner worked really really well, the pressure on the shower was awesome, the temperature in the shower was awesome, it was a really nice motel, the only thing that wasn't really that good about the place was the actual location of it, Comstock Texas has absolutely nothing in it, If you find yourself in Comstock Texas and you need a motel room, you should definitely stop and stay there, it is a really nice motel, they don't have all the fencing amenities like your big chain motels do like a pool, they don't have one of them, they don't have breakfast in the morning, they're just a really clean and friendly motel.

Quite a step up from the old Casa Blanca that used to be there. Clean, comfortable, thick towels. We’ll be back! Good restaurant down the street a bit, too.

As we've already been here in June 2019 and really liked it we decided to come back again - and were not disappointed at all ! The very friendly owner immediately showed us the ( standard ) room - which we took with two Queen beds - which is extremely clean and equipped with everything you need ( Microwave , fridge , coffeemaker , modern TV , hairdryer and even an iron are in the room ) ; WiFi is very fast ! Our room is nicely furnished with laminate instead of an old carpet , and also the bathroom looks very nice and renovated . All in all : worth every dollar of the really fair price ! PS : as we already after our last visit wrote : the owner has a big heart for the stray cats living here and feeds them - and so we do and bought cat food and fed the cats and gave the remaining food to the owner . If you also have a big heart for stray cats bring food to them - they'll appreciate !

My husband Robert and I were most pleasantly surprised to walk into our spotless clean room, with the AC set at 66 degrees, while the outside temp was in the high 80's.The floor is tile, which is not only cool for bare feet, but so much cleaner than a carpet.Folgers coffee, free bags of ice, organic soap and body washadded to a nice experience after long days of hiking in the Lower Pecos canyons.Outside lights and cameras provide peace of mind for parked cars.We plan to make the Comstock Motel our home away from home when traveling in the Chihuahuan Desert.

We had a planned overnight stay in Comstock. As this seemed the only Hotel in Comstock we booked via phone the day before and it was the best decision we made. It was a very warm welcome. The owner is a very likeable and down home person. The whole place is very peaceful and quiet compared to all other Hotels we've been so far. (We made a 16days TX roundtrip). The room was the absolutely cleanest room we've ever stayed in so far. It looked nice too. Everything you need was available. Outside you have a BBQ pit and tables and seats available and opposite the street is the local grocery store and the gas station. Nearby is a restaurant. We visited Devils River State Park from there amd the Seminole Canyon Park then went on to out next destination. Everyone in town was so friendly. A real win during our trip. I really recommend staying there.Rooms: Very clean, modern and everything inside you need.Nearby activities: Seminole Canyion and Devils river state park, Amistand recreation areaSafety: Very safe place to be. Would definitely recommend the Comstock Motel! Rooms were clean and comfortable. A huge shout out to the owner. He went above and beyond to accommodate us and our stay. He is one of the kindest person I have met. Because of him, I can attest that there are still good people in this world!

I was pleasantly surprised with how the nice and clean the room was. All rooms are 2 double beds with a good sized fridge and a microwave. Had to go to Facebook to get a phone number and there is no website. Simply told the guy who answered my name and arrival date and was good to go. I was told many cross country bicyclists stop here as US 90 is a very long and lonely road. A good restaurant is close by.
