Our car started having issues due to a recalled part, and this Cavender's told us it would hopefully not take that long. Turns out the part is on back order and won't be in until October and we have been without a car for almost a month at this point. They have been giving us the run around, saying they have no loaner cars, despite it having been a month. My husband and I are beyond frustrated at this point and would not recommend getting your car serviced at this Ford dealership.

Very poor customer communication from the service department. I had a poor experience several months ago but decided to give them another chance to do things right. This service visit has been as bad or worse than the one before. I have decided not to give them another opportunity to disappoint me. Will be using another location for any future service needs.

Don't drive from Katy or Houston! Cavendars has consistently disappointed. Today we drove an hour after confirming our appointment and availability. 30 minutes after we confirmed we arrived and were told a check had been received for the car. It wasn't in an apologetic way, but more in a tough for you now go away, way. A similar story from 3 years ago. I wont make the mistake of driving from Katy a third time for future opportunities. Cavendars is forever on the do not do business with list. Weak management that takes customers for granted. Dont be fooled into driving from Houston or Katy to this location. They really dont care and will tell you to come out even though the car is sold. Go to Autonation, Ryan or any other dealer first.

I exchanged with the mechanic our personal numbers to get updates on my car but the tow truck driver (not his fault) had passed on the phone we called him from, which was my husbands number, to the mechanic. This would be on the form with my car & that number would "authorize purchases" as they diagnose the issue. This becomes a problem when they call my husband to ask to "put in a new battery to run some test". I learn after the diagnosis my alternator is shot & that their prices are way out of my budget. But that I am also paying $180 for a new battery & a labor cost of $300 to install it. I explained that I was okay paying for the diagnosis of course but I did not want a new battery. But by then my original battery was "gone" & I would then be told my husband authorized the purchase, which he did not & because they had a different number on the form, I was just going to have to believe that they together would start racking up a bill for me to pay. In the end I paid $650 for a battery, diagnosis, labor & cleaning up battery acid that didn't exist on my old battery, just to then pay for another tow truck who could work on my car for more than half the price total ford quoted me. I'm very upset ford couldn't work with me or be more communicative with me as I was with them. I was made to feel irresponsible for not already knowing that the number on the form would be in complete control of my car, & lied to when Ford purchased a battery for me instead of just running test with one like they said. They refused to work with me on the issue so in the end I've decided to sell my Ford so I can avoid ever ending up in a Ford dealership ever again. I'm going to be sticking with my Honda CRV now. Thanks Ford!

Yesterday afternoon my truck broke down on I10. Luckily I was just across from Cavender. I called and Isley answered. Based on what I told him, he already knew what was wrong, I got the truck to him and he had someone working on it right away.
From greeting me with a smile, and an "I am glad you made it here", to being completely accommodating to the fact that I had my dogs in the truck with me, Isley was great.
Highly recommend Isley and the entire Cavender Ford service team, they were amazing

Working with Maria in sales and Dan in finance was the best vehicle buying experience I've ever had. After a terrible experience at a different (Chevy) dealership, I found a truck I liked at Cavender. The staff went above and beyond working out the deal over the phone and through text. I live 4 hours away and Maria worked with me to get to the right price and rate before I even set foot in their dealership.
There was zero stress.
The whole process took about two hours from the time we walked in to the time we drove off in our new truck. In comparison, at the chevy dealership we had visited previously, they had us wait in a small office for about 45 minutes just so they could check if they would take our trade-in.
Cavender had great communication, were very attentive, friendly, and did not pressure me to buy. The best thing for us was that they worked out a deal without having to come in from out of town.

On arrival I was greeted by name and introduced to the crew. They do a great job of managing each other up. Carlos was very helpful at explaining services and how they can accommodate my busy schedule. Will for sure be returning to get all my service done on my diesel.

The pickup/delivery or complimentary shuttle is very time consuming. Had to reschedule an appointment due to not having a driver even though this was a scheduled appointment, then had to return for rescheduled appointment and had to wait for a ride and then had to return the next day when parts were in and again had to wait for a ride. This so called convenient complimentary shuttle that they brag about when buying a car is not readily available and would be better to just wait for the repair. Very frustrating. And I have an extended warranty plan that I purchased and they bragged about this service . Other than that , Carlos seems to be concerned about repairs needed on my new vehicle and is always friendly and easy to talk too.

I purchased my car here almost 2 years ago & last week was my first time getting my car towed there to get service. It was almost after hours & thanks to Carlos service advisor he called his team to ensure someone would be there to give them my keys. Carlos C. was very professional & called & updated me from price to when they started working on the issue of my car & when my car was ready for me to pickup. I highly recommend coming here & letting Carlos help you along the way.
