Picked up my barbecue order and accidentally parked in front of the store not realizing it wasn't a parking space. While I was waiting for my order an employee or maybe the owne came up to me and was very rude and said ma'am is that your car? I said yes, expecting something was wrong with my car. He said 2 things, while holding up two fingers in my face.
He said 1. That is not a parking space and 2 your blocking people from entering the store, which was not true. Also he said if there was a fire you are blocking the entrance for the firetrucks. I said I was so sorry and and didn't realize I parked in a wrong space and I would move my car. He said no, pick up your order, it's ready and stormed off muttering something I didn't understand.
Absolutely the rudest person I have ever expirenced as a customer.
l will never go to this place again and hope if you do shop there they will treat you respectfully as a customer. Even if you accidentally park in the space in front of the door.
Barbecue is OK but expensive..$50.00 for 1 pound of beef and 1 pound of turkey. Unbelievable!

Love visiting this location. Always great selection and even better conversation with the folks working there. A very decent selection of higher end bottles that are not just at museum prices.

I've been told by multiple people to try this place - supposedly the best bbq in the area. Maybe my expectations were high, but this was one of the worst bbq's I've tried since moving to TX. I let it go when the amounts of my order was completely wrong (even though the person wrote down my order - 1/2 lb each ribs, brisket, coleslaw, and beans, 1 lb potato salad) - the amounts were provided in reverse, so when my order came out to over $80 I was shocked! They were nice enough to fix everything, but I ended up getting less than 1/2 lb of each item...still cost around $40 :(. The worst of it was how ridiculously greasy the brisket and ribs were - we literally held up a rib bone and slices of brisket and saw grease dripping off both (and not just a drop or two). There was a pool of grease in both containers of meat. It made for a very unappetizing experience - ended up throwing it away. The sides were okay...decently flavored. Based on our experience, we're going to keep looking for a decent bbq spot. This place isn't for us.

I've been going to Halls for specialty beer for over 15 years. It's the best place I've found in the DFW metroplex for specialty beer. The owner will sometimes put out "Easter egg beers" which are rare and or aged beers to find. Great selection and the staff is very helpful as well.

Rub is a little too salty, only gripe but it's not a big deal since I usually put their brisket in breakfast tacos and just leave the salt off the eggs

Charley Hall and his team are top notch folks who are very welcoming and helpful. Charley has gone out of his way to find me various whiskeys. Hard to find true good service these days, these guys nail it!!
