So So glad I finally changed from colleyville to Southlake Family Medicine. The quality, care, professionalism and efficiency of everyone from doctors, PAs to front desk are like night and day. They are all in the Baylor System so I don't understand the wide disparity. Southlake finds a way to get you seen and followed up. Dr. Fonte and Shannon Holland are the best ever. The wait for well-woman exam is worth it so set those in advance!

Have been going here for years but I’ll be searching for a new provider soon. They do have some good PA’s here and there but the practice is overloaded with patients annd anlways backlogged. Can’t get an appointment same-week with my doctor and it takes forever to have lab results shared when you have a referral. Used to be same-day they would send your referral and labs over…. Now it’s a week or more. You call and call to follow up and the staff is apathetic to the situation. I’m sure they deal with a lot of patients complaining and you can tell by how they handle your follow up call. This office had really gone downhill in the time I’ve gone here.

I have been going here for 10+ years. NP Taylor Bernstein is great, highly recommend seeing her, she listens, is patient and appointments with her don't feel rushed. I prefer to see her over the other doctors and have switched my kids from one of the pediatricians to NP Bernstein as well.
The reason for the 2 stars, I called to set up a new patient appointment. My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer and leptomeningeal disease. We just needed to get her in for insurance purposes so she can get a referral to her oncologist she saw in the hospital.
Without radiation, her life expectancy is only a few weeks. I explained this when I called, they made the appointment for 8/28 and said that was the soonest available. I explained there is a chance she will not be alive at that time if we don't get treatment sooner and they said there is nothing they can do. We didn't need a long appointment, literally just a few minutes to jump through insurance hoops to have a request put in so she can get radiation started as soon as possible. Blows my mind that they cannot make an exception to get someone in for an appointment when their prognosis is only a few weeks without treatment.

What can I say. Colleyville family medicine is the best. The service is impeccable, from the front desk staff, MA, nurses, and doctor. Today I had an emergency. I went there unannounced which is not my norm. I was starting a new job and they needed a list of medical information ASAP. I needed to get that information as soon as I can. Chassidy Henderson is my hero. She was able to get the ball rolling in getting the necessary information so I can submit to my job. Usually from the front desk prospective, it's a, ok we will leave a message for the nurse etc. but not Chassidy, she went above and beyond, got the nurses and doctor involved and all of them realized my urgency and was quick to help. Dr. Hayes who is my favorite doctor came in and spoke to me for a quick second because remember I went unannounced and said she was able to get me what I needed today. Words can't explain how relieved I was, that the office pulled together to get me what I needed. From the phlebotomist, CXR tech etc. I am so thankful to all of you but it all started with Chassidy. Thank You!!! :)

I had such a great experience until some old lady named Jody had a nasty attitude, she needs to retire. I asked her a question and she had no knowledge of what I was asking and had a nasty attitude about it. I felt as if she was being racists towards me and I did not appreciate it one bit. I would go back to this location as the rest of the staff was great. But the experience I had with this individual left a very distasteful feeling and impression. I will not be going back due to Jody being stupid, rude and felt as if she was racially profiling me.

Just had the displeasure of speaking with Michelle at the baylor scott consultants trying to bully me into getting me on the schedule (obviously they need money) or I would be considered a new patient and then that would take even longer to be seen. I will be looking into a new PCP. I don't like being pressured into doing anything.

I feel Dr Cherry has genuine concern for me as a patient but this whole answering service sure does create a huge communication barrier with trying to get anything done. Is this the way all
doctors’ offices are in the DFW area? I mean seriously I had none of these issues in Amarillo, Lubbock or Wichita Falls when I had multiple doctors offices I dealt with at those places. Oklahoma City even included never had the boundary there like it is here it really is frustrating…

Most unfriendly and welcoming staff. The lack of diversity is unreal at this location and it feels suffocating. They have one black girl at the front and that’s literally it. Our mother doesn’t speak good English and they make us feel uncomfortable about it. We had a 9am appointment and they canceled our appointment and said they left a voicemail. When we checked there was no voicemail left and they had multiple numbers on file and called a number we had removed off of her account while she was admitted in the ER. Front desk staff response was “we tried, maybe get the app so you get our messages.” We have the app but you don’t get notifications as the app logs you out once you close it. Don’t recommend coming to this facility.

I have been going here for primary care for about 25 years. Dr. O’Leary initially, she was awesome but retired to take care of her family. I was fortunate enough to get Dr. Hayes after that & she is the best doctor I have ever seen! She is responsive, sincerely cares and is extremely supportive of my suggestions or opinions in my overall healthcare. She works well with the other doctors I see and manages most all of my medication‘s.
I hope I never have to change PCP doctors!

Beware of their billing practices. Outside of a normal physical, they take the opportunity to add ambiguous charges after the fact that might not be covered by your insurance. And they certainly won't tell you before hand or give you any type of prior explanation.

Thank you to the staff at this facility. ??From my first impression with Michelle (intake) to Rhonda (tech) to nurse Kirsty who was so kind and patient. Thank you for your empathy and for caring. It makes a difference! Dr. Patel was thorough which was really important to me. I was seen almost immediately and promptly and I felt like (ALL) the staff cared. I appreciate the great service that was provided. Thank you!

I scheduled an appointment, came in on time for my appointment just to find out I will not be seen by a doctor. They had no common courtesy to call in advance to attempt to reschedule but yet recommended to go to an urgent care based on the reason for visit. Definitely do not recommend scheduling here!

Professional time wasters. Incompetent communication, lack of respect for patients.

Taylor Dawn Bernstein is a great FNP. She was able to help me with something multiple other doctors missed. She is a good listener and smart so if you explain your issues well she will likely suggest something that hasn't been tried or that you meant to but didn't get around to yet.
