Not worth it Not worth it They make you show up to the building to do any major changes to your account. They will make you come to the building no matter if you do not have transportation at the moment. They will tell you that your account is canceled BUT won't tell you what that if you do it on the phone it will still charge you, and will charge you continuously as they please until idk. I will give you all updates in a month because it's been a month this I dealt with them IN PERSON AS REQUESTED- and they still found a way to charge an inactive account. Smh

They have extremely low rates initially then charge you more after 3 months. Have to cancel in person WILL NOT let you cancel over the phone and they have a 30 day notice for ending your membership so when you want to leave the gym you end up paying for another month. Go anywhere but here

Absolute racket... as is the case with most gym memberships. They'll take your money on a whisper to get started, but to cancel requires a damned blood oath and animal sacrifice on the 3rd full moon of a leap year. Our son no longer goes to A&M and we've been going round with these idiots for a couple of months. Contacted them in December saying he's no longer there and needs to cancel. We were told he had to cancel in person. Tough to do when he's 2,000 miles away. Just cancel the damned membership. Sorry... you'll have to go to the post office and request cancellation by certified mail. ARE YOU SERIOUS? So my wife actually jumps through their hoops and sends the certified letter. They got the certified letter January 26th. And of course... again... they show up in my bills with an new charge as of 2/1. She calls back today and they tell her "well... we got it on January 26th, but you need to give 30 days notice... so that won't be effective until 2/26". WHAT? We've been NOTIFYING you since freakin' DECEMBER. Absolute BS. If you give your money to these people, just know you'll be paying until you're in your grave... and likely beyond. Good luck.

Their policy is not worth the money or hassle. First of all, do not buy the plan that is for multiple gyms. It is a waste of your money and it will be difficult to switch over. It’s plenty other gyms in BCS that is more affordable and accessible. Also if you cancel just be prepared to pay and extra month fee after your last fee as a courtesy for them allowing you to come back for 30 days even if you don’t.

Tried to go ask for a day pass. Was trying to get membership since I'm from Texas. A kid named Donovan said I had to be from Collgee Station to get one or it was 15 dollars for a day pass. Go online and you can get a ten day pass for free. I was trying to get a friend to join with me but I guess that won't be happening. On to Golds Gym instead where they didn't act like this.

Cancelled 6 months ago after waiting their cancellation period and Im still getting charged they even charged a second card after I blocked them on my credit card. Don’t give them your account number for the extra discount you will never get rid of them.

Horrible location. Equipment is always broken and staff members are not knowledgeable. Locker room is dirty and not maintain. At one point it was the best gym in B/CS but not anymore. It's popular due to location. Poor management and customer service. Managers don't stick around. Pretty sad.

This place certainly needs to improve in many aspects.1. Cleanliness. If they would leave some cleaning supplies out, I would at least clean a spot for myself.2. Apparently only people capable of putting toilet paper in the restrooms are maintenance people, who are hard to come by.3. They won’t install ceiling fans.4. The front desk people just hang out and are oblivious to their actual surroundings, and can’t be bothered.

After spending the better part of a year (conservatively) trying to cancel her membership in person, over the phone, online, etc., my wife finally got traction via a written letter. As if paying for months of membership fees when not using the facility while trying to cancel wasn’t enough, we got hit with a $50+ charge on the way out, I assume, for “not giving 30-days of notice.” Bad faith? Incompetent? Bureaucratically inefficient? I can’t pretend to know why my wife earned this treatment, but I absolutely do not recommend anyone enrolls here.

I have been going to this TruFit for a little over a year and it’s been great. It is centrally located and has amenities such as a sauna, childcare, a women’s workout area, and a decent Amount of weights and machines. The manager TJ is very professional and helpful as well. One of the best things about this location is my Personal Trainer, Wesley. Wesley has been my trainer for almost a year now and has been great. He challenges me to lift heavier and try different exercises, even ones I didn’t think I’d be able to do and I’ve definitely felt the difference in my strength since working with him. He is able to advise me on form and diet as well. Wesley has worked with me on my schedule when I’ve had to shuffle days and is just a good guy. Consistent, very patient and encouraging on this fitness journey. If you need a personal trainer who is knowledgeable and passionate about fitness but will also meet you where you are fitness-wise, I highly recommend Wesley!

This gym is disgusting. The bathrooms and locker rooms are constantly in a completely unusable state, and I can't even blame the employees since there is only ONE janitor. And that's just cleanliness. There's something wrong with just about every machine, and management seem keen on simply never fixing any of it.And if that all isn't bad enough, management has the nerve to BRIBE reviews out of people. They give away a free expired protein bar in exchange for a 5 star review. So assume any recent 5 star review without a description is fake if you want a real idea of what this gym's rating should be. Never go here. And just a side note, the music is WAY too loud.

I recently had an issue with overcharges on my gym membership. However, the district manager promptly addressed my concerns and issued a full refund. Their willingness to resolve the problem and ensure member satisfaction was greatly appreciated. Kudos to the team for their professionalism and commitment to customer service. I'm now looking forward to my gym visits with peace of mind. Thank you!

This review is SOLELY a shout out to Rosie Castaneda. After our card on file was compromised due to fraud; my husband and I were told by staff, and (even a "manager") at this location "nothing can be done to waive your late fees". Even though they happily waived my husbands the week prior (we had a joint account as of last months billing cycle. The men at the desk were rude, and shrugged (yes, actually shoulder shrugged us off) and said," it wasn't their problem, and that our accounts were now "separate accounts" and that I had late fees from CC fraud.Rosie, on the other hand exemplifies what customer service means on every level. SHE took care of both our accounts with a credit, and made it a point to take accountability for their poor job etiquette. THANK YOU Rosie for having integrity, and doing what is right by customer AND club at all times.

Cole helped me sign up for the first time to the gym. Extremely accommodating and personable to be around. The gym itself leaves a couple things to be desired (e.g needs 2.5lb or smaller plates for micro loading on exercises), but it serves my needs well.

Personal Training is a joke.I signed up for 6 months of personal training and my trainer got a better job at another gym about 3.5 months into my contract. Great for her - horrible for me. I was ensured when I signed on that they had a plethora of trainers and finding time in my schedule would not be a problem. Well Trufit never found a trainer to replace her and my timeslot when I was available and continued charging me until my end date. That's right - I paid for 2.5 months of training and never received a thing. Their contracts are worded so poorly (against the consumer) that I never thought I'd stand a chance in court. Unfortunately because my time that I had originally signed up for was not written on the contact anywhere, as long as they offered me some time at some gym within 20 miles of my home address, they fulfilled their end of the deal. When you work a 9-5, you can't go to a gym 15 miles away at 2 pm twice a week. The gym itself is nice, albeit busy. Just don't sign up for personal training, it's a joke.
