Phone disconnected, doors locked, windows dark. Maybe closed? As of 11/20/19. Loved them when I changed my look back in april, came back for a late trim and found no one home. Too bad.

Etta saved my life!!! I'm an adoptive mom of four black children, but I'm white, so I needed HELP with the girls' hair! I called and explained the situation, and Etta graciously spent hours with me, teaching me, encouraging me, and speaking such wonderful truths into the girls' lives. Best salon experience EVER.

Thank you, Etta! So this review is LONG overdue over the awesome service I received at Syblings from Etta. So the story goes: I plan and schedule my hair appointments far in advance so that I can respectively give the hair stylist timely notice; about a month out. For this appointment, it was important-- it was my graduation from my Master's program at TAMU. My hair needed to be right! Even thought I did as I always do above when scheduling with a hair stylist, my original hair stylist did not have me scheduled in her planner on the day I was suppose to go in, even though I had confirmed a week prior. Freaking out, I called every African-american female I knew to be referred to a African -american hair care stylist. I was referred to Etta at Sybling by a co-worker. Etta took my appointment at the very last minute and even did not go to her son's last minute school function. I was blessed by her for doing that for me. Syblings in a strip is behind Walmart. The shop is small but humble for the two female hair care professionals, which I assume are sisters. They have information about the local church events and sell fashion hats (and I think church women suits). Inside Etta's room, which is toward the back, I was reminded of going to get my hair done as a little girl at a house shop (in a good way, great family memories). I felt at home with a great laughter of friends who were customers and a easy going hair care professional such as Etta. I was in and out in less that 2 hours for a relaxer and blowout. She also give me a trim for a free. My hair turned out so pretty; better than anyone who had done my hair before...in my life. I wished I could have know about Syblings prior to this visit, yet it would be my last appointment as I was leaving for Chicago. Etta saved the day and such a blessing for the words she spoke in my life on that day. For the women of color in CS/B looking for a good hair care profession for relaxers and blowouts, I would save your money in going to Houston and try Syblings from Etta!
