Love this clinic! Their prices are fair, the doctors are so kind, and they have gone out of their way to help make sure my dog has been taken care of thus far. 10 stars!

Great clinic, I interviewed for a job here and was very impressed with what they've done with such a limited space. The doctors are genuinely kind and love animals.

My dog got into a fight and was left with a nasty bite on his head that formed an abscess. I typically go to a retail pet hospital, but they quoted me nearly $700 at LEAST to treat him. I paid less than a fifth of that at Southwood Valley, including medications, cleaning, initial appointment cost. They took such great care of my little guy, and I am so grateful I found them. He healed up just fine, all thanks to them. Will definitely come again in the future!

Southwood Valley Animal Hospital has always been amazing to my two cats. Their pricing, compared to other places, has been great. Where I currently am, vets are trying to charge $200-$300 for an ultrasound meanwhile Southwood Valley only charges around $30 for the same service.

I have been going to Southwood Valley Vet for 5 years. I started going when Dr. Bond was the primary vet, but recently the new owners, Dr.Justin and Lauren Casares, have taken over the practice. All I can say is you need to bring your pets here! They are extremely caring when it comes to taking care your family pets.Recently, my 4 year old lab came down with a severe GI upset that required immediate attention. After taking him to the animal hospital and spending hundreds of dollars we left with more questions than answers. I immediately called SWVV and they got me in the next morning. Once we got there Dr. Lauren Carares took over our pups case and looked over all the lab work diligently and provided/proposed the best plan of action possible for him. I can gladly say my pup is making an amazing comeback! Needless to say, this time around all of my questions and worries were put to rest after a visit at SWVV.Southwood Valley staff is caring and understands the responsibility they have when caring for others pets. They truly know what family means.

The staff literally watched a dog fighting for its life in the lobby and took other appointments while the dog struggled to breathe. The dog had been seen the day before and had been misdiagnosed. When we called the next day to get the dog in because her condition had gotten worse, they insisted on waiting for an appointment time instead of addressing the emergency. After waiting in the lobby for 30 min we were able to get the dog to a different clinic who saw her IMMEDIATELY and put her on oxygen right then. We found out more in 10 min than southwood valley did in 2 days! The dog ended up dying an hr later. These vets are incompetent and so are their staff. Do not use them.

I have been going to Southwood vet for a number of years now and this is my 1st time since the original vet retired. I must admit, this new husband/wife team has quite a bit to learn about the real world! For the First Time in 4 years someone has been able to clip my dogs nails w/o him being sedated! I should have been with my dog for this especially when they wanted to close the door between us! Then there's the office staff who is anything but efficient! They got my appt time wrong so I had to wait with 3 puppies and 1 dog for almost 45 minutes! If I would've left, they would've charged me for office time for each! Needless to say, I'm headed to Welborn vet. I pray they're accepting new patients!!

I am new to the area and found Southwood Valley Animal Hospital online. Because reviews matter to me, I chose to take my dogs there.. and the reviews match the service we received. So thankful for the staff and Dr. Justin for being professional, caring and friendly. Keep it up!! See you guys again soon!

Dr. Bond is simply incredible. My cat was lost years ago and had a broken leg when the shelter found him. Two other vets told me he'd need a $3,000 amputation. I wanted a 3rd opinion, and Dr. Bond showed me my cat was not in any pain with his leg. He explained the bone spur and possible arthritis/atrophy, but insisted my cat seemed fine and happy edgewise. He also said if an amputation was needed it would be $300-600 and we could consider IF the leg was bothering him.My boy runs around the house like he never broke his leg. He is the happiest cat and people barely notice his crooked paw. Dr. Bond is the reason he's a happy cat today. He also cured my other cat of ring worm after Banfield ran us in circles for over 9 months with expensive visits and sulfur baths. He actually cares about animals AND the human owners. He will tell you straight up if he disagrees with you, but he will always act in the best interest of the animal.

This is the best vet in College Station hands down. I’ve lived a couple different places over the years for work and no other vet gives the same warm small town feel as this one. There is not a better or more capable Veterinarian than Doctor Bond. He is thorough and exceptional. He cares so much about our pets. My dogs love him and we appreciate him so much.
