Quint is super talented and a pleasure, and I want to say I got a good cut overall. Unfortunately, there were some points where I felt like I was not being listened to, and I didn’t realize this until after I went home and realized how uneven my side/face framing pieces were. I was very specific about certain things I wanted, like the shapes of my ends and the shapes of those side pieces, stressing and emphasizing that I tie my hair every day and that it was super important for me to have my face framing pieces cut nicely. Every hairstylist I’ve gone to, even if not good, did take that seriously and either trimmed them appropriately or sort of left them alone. However, I was heartbroken to find out that they not only pretty much got cut off on one side, but that a chunk of weight was added too. So now it’s completely uneven when my hair is tied up, and it is so noticeable that other people see it and sort of just go “oof…”
Again, it was a pleasure and I respect him a lot, but he does have a strong personality and when I tried to mention these things I did feel sort of
dismissed/ignored at times, and it was disappointing to find out that there were consequences to that. I’m incredibly heartbroken because I don’t know if this can be fixed, I think my hair has to grow out for at least 3 months for my face framing pieces to even be close to normal again, which really sucks since I have to tie my hair every day.
It is still normal and okay on one side, but kind of atrocious on the other side. The weight does look uneven when my hair is down too. Good cut overall, just face frames ruined. All said with love, just unfortunate miscommunication I think.

quint is literally a national treasure! i had no idea what I wanted going into my appointment but he was somehow able to figure it out and add his own twist :) he also isn’t afraid to give you honest advice which i love

Quint is just awesome! He gave my mother and I the cut we requested. After 3.5 years in BCS, and surviving a few bad cuts, we love our hair again, all thanks to Quint! Plus, he’s just a really good hang. Highly recommend Sheer!!!Services: Haircut

After not going to the hair salon for a while out of fear of it not being done properly I decided to give this place a visit because of all the wonderful reviews and not only am I so happy with my decision but quint did an excellent job and this place exceeded my expectations. Quint was very friendly and professional and made me feel very welcome. I showed him a few pictures and he gave me exactly what I wanted if not better. I got a layered short haircut that most generic salons absolutely butcher but he did an amazing job and I feel so confident with the haircut. Thank you so much! Today was a greattttt day! Quint did magic - pure MAGIC - on my hair to helped me recover from a horrifying color job done elsewhere. With personable professionalism, Quint corrected my issue, and I truly cried happy tears when he finished! New to the area, I have been searching for a permanent hairstylist! I found him! His talent is a gift! Run don’t walk to Quint at Sheers! I give 10+ stars!!!!
