I was blessed enough to have my mother and her husband purchase my ring wrap from this Aggie run, local small business.
I went in today to have them repair my fake Rolex that my daddy, Dr Lowery, broke off of my arm in the final throws of his passing.
The staff were very sweet and repaired my fake Rolex for only $10 and then adjusted my awesome very valuable ring wrap that they had designed and we had purchased in 2018.
While I was at the MSC today to install Daddy's exhibit in the flag room for Muster, I found out that the Aggie mom's yearly boutique was in going on. It was unfortunate that nobody was there to promote Montelongo's because they are always below price and above quality on ring wraps for all Aggies.
Thank you so much to everyone who helped me today especially on this day when I was going through such distress!

My husband and I went back to CS in May for our wedding reception. On Friday afternoon, the day before our 2pm reception on Saturday, we went into Montelongo's to get my wedding ring cleaned. Jacob Woodard-Rueda greeted us when we walked in, and helped us the entire time. When they took the ring back for cleaning they noticed a small gem stone on the side was broken and let us know. They told us that they could easily fix it, it would only take a couple of days. I was pretty disappointed. Not only was the reception in less than 24 hrs, we were already busy, and my ring was broken- but we were set to fly back to where we live overseas in 3 days. Unfortunately we didn't have any wiggle room for this repair. My husband thanked them and explained our time constraint. Then the jeweler himself came out to speak with us, listened thoughtfully, and said that he would personally come in the next day to have it ready by 1pm. Y'all it was ready by 11am, completely fixed and sparkling clean. Note, we did not buy this ring from them, and haven't even lived in College Station for more than a decade. The cost of the fix? Incredibly affordable, far below what we would have expected to pay even if we didn't need such a quick turn around. They went above and beyond for two people they have never met and the receipt for that repair is pressed into my wedding scrapbook as a sweet reminder of the kindness of Aggies and this fine business.

I went to this store to get my ring re-sized. When I got my ring back I realized the back was SUPER thinned out. A few days later, the ring snaps. I go back and explain what happened and they're very apologetic but all they do is meld it back together. The back is still super thin and it ends up snapping again. I go back and once again explain what happened to a different woman. She says she's gonna charge me another $50 for a new back and when I try explaining that I shouldn't have to pay because the workers here were the ones that made it too thin, she tells me they have the best jewelers in the country and it definitely wasn't anything they did. She continues to say that it was probably already thin and I just didn't notice. After I push the fact that I shouldn't have to pay, she snaps at me and says "We'll just mend it together because I'm not gonna sit here and argue with you over $50". Rudest customer service I've ever gotten. Everyone else there was super nice and understanding. Terrible experience. Never going back.

I’m continuously impressed with how Montelongo’s operates their business. The jewelers are helpful and their customer service is impeccable. After 4+ years of wearing my Ring Wrap everyday, one of the diamonds fell out. I immediately started to panic and fret about how much it would cost to repair my wrap, especially since I live several states away now. I called and Sheila immediately eased all of my concerns. She would replace the first lost Diamond for free, all I needed to do was pay for the shipping. Of course I was terrified to have my ring and wrap shipped, but again, these people are professionals. The package was insured and arrived safely. They cleaned, refitted and tighten all the diamonds on my Ring Wrap. When it was ready, a couple of days later, they overnighted it back to me. It’s like a brand new ring! So appreciative of the amazing customer service!

Please, when you have a clearly pregnant woman come in to discuss sizing up a ring due to said pregnancy, don't have a male provider her customer service who clearly knows nothing about pregnancy. I explained how with the last baby, I lost all the pregnancy weight in pounds, but my fingers stayed larger. I explained how they'll go down some after these now twins are born. He kept arguing with me that "they shouldn't change that much, this is just how your body is now". Um, I'm sorry, did I ask for an opinion on how MY body changes before/during/after pregnancy? And then to quote me an astonishing $300+ with tax and delivery fees for a 1 size-up of engagement set. Absurd. Absolutely taking advantage of long-time loyal customers and fat-shaming them in the process. Don't go here if you are a woman who cares about being respected.
