Misleading advertisement everywhere!! No sales associate knows whats going on. Everything is on "SALE" but the prices don't reflect that. I went in to just browse and immediately was blown away by their advertised sales on almost every rack. What is very misleading though, is where these 80% off/ "BOGO" Free signs are. They aren't on every rack but on most of the clothes they have either a "SALE" sign or a Blue Sticker which is "clearance". According to the sign it says "BOGO" only applies to the Pink Stickers. I wish I could be exaggerating but the Pink Sticker is super rare to find. What bugs me is that they put these "BOGO" signs on racks that have nothing but Blue Stickers. When I asked an associate about why they don't just have a separate space for just pink sticker items her response was the most sincerest I've ever heard from anyone working retail. "It's a scam and misleading. They know what they are doing. I agree they should separate the pink tags but they wont because they hardly put out pink tagged items. If they did there wouldn't be much on the rack." I appreciated her honesty and sincerity. I even asked a manager why everything on the BOGO rack is a blue sticker and her response was so half assed I don't even think she believed her own words coming out of her mouth. I took pictures just so ya'll can see how deceiving they are. You'll see they the sign says "Pink Ticket Only" but why advertise that if the Pink Tickets don't exist! Then I tried to use a coupon code they advertise throughout the store and the girl at the register said it had to be a barcode in order to use but when I brought this up to the manager I spoke with she informed me the 15 digit code needed to be typed in and they didn't come in a barcode. So, I don't know about you but this was a frustrating experience for me at a not so popular and dying franchise that I don't intend to ever go back. The store is in shambles. Codes, coupons, sales that are misleading and staff that doesn't know how their own sales or coupons work. It's the equivalent to having a gas station with no pumps. Why advertise your selling gas if you don't have that specific product?

About the only place I'll go outside to visit.. really the only retail store we have in College Station that's worth going into.. plus I love their order online, pick up in store. The only feedback I have is they should have more registers open in store in different departments.

12.28.23 Came in to purchase a pullover and a pair of dress pants for my husband. I noticed when I walked in the cash registered were close to the doors and they had a line but there was 3 cashiers working. (Not surprised...it is 3 days after Christmas) Headed to the men's section. They do need better lighting in this location. It was a little dark. (The Cypress location is nice and bright) It was tidy for the most part. They had a nice selection of Big & Tall clothes. My hubby is not big but tall. I found the pullover I was needing and then headed to the pants. Oh and the pullover was on sale. Also picked up a T-shirt that was on sale too. The pants selection was pretty picked over. I managed to find 2 pairs of dress pants for him. I was shocked that the dress pants were between $70-$100 each! It's been a while since I have shopped for dress pants. They did have a sale for BOGO 50% off. That helped. I did not look for clothes for myself today. So I headed to pay and leave. There was still a line but it was moving quite fast. I found a coupon on the app for 25% off my purchase while standing in line. Yeah!!!! I only waited about 5 minutes. The cashier was nice and polite. No complaints here. Everything I bought was on sale plus my coupon. 2 pants, 2 pullovers and 1 tshirt $120. (Did not know what size to buy so I bought different sizes for him to try) (my hubby does NOT go shopping...for clothes...EVER!) I would return to this JcPenny's again. (Don't forget to download the app and use the coupons!)

Did a curbside pick up……getting checked in was a real pain. They need a phone number listed on the curbside signs. They do have one on the website or app….but if you are having trouble getting it to load you are just outta luck….it took us 15 or 29 mins to get the site to load…and yes I realize that is not Penny’s fault…..but it would have sure been nice to be able to call and tell them we were out there!

Great sales. Shelves well stocked. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Store appeared clean and organized.

About a week ago, I was looking for a white dressing shirt and black dressing slacks for my son.we went to a bunch of stores with no luck. Thankfully we end up at pennys, I never imagined the great help I got,they went above and beyond. Thanks to the three ladies Angela,Misha and Desiree. My son got to him play with his school orchestra

Isn't JCP supposed to be coming out of their slump ? Their stock is still low and they have started using Kohl's pricing tricks. Take an item that should sell for $30.00 add $10.00 to it, and then give you a $10.00 discount. Oh well, if they make it. I guess it works for them.

My review is partially for the store, but mostly for Mr. Paul, who is a staff member here! My husband and I came here looking for a suit with zero knowledge of suits. Paul was heaven sent! He knew everything there was to know, he was so kind and patient, and because of him and his help, we left with the perfect one! So thankful for him being there! If I could give him more stars, I would!

Make sure you have plenty of time to shop. Lots of deals if u have time to look around. Unless your husband is a bargain shopper, don't bring him along.

Five minutes to find what I needed……thirty minutes standing in line to check out. This is highly disproportionate. The teller also spent more time cramming their store credit card down people’s throats than anything else! Seriously at least three or four propositions per customer. They don’t take “No” for an answer. I’ve seen used car, and door to door salesman who were less aggressive!
