Horrible experience, waited 3 hours when i had extreme abdominal pain and a fever of 103 (that i communicated). It's not that busy and there is no sense of urgency. Do not come here for urgent matters.

I have used BSW, College Station, for nine years. In the past two years, because of incompetent services staff(not the doctor's) I have stopped using one of the three departments and gone elsewhere. One of the other departments I use can not keep doctors. The doctors keep leaving in that department (most likely due to difficulty working with BSW). In the last two years the web portal has gotten worse on being able to send and receive messages and to find and print my lab results. Today, for the first time in nine years I got notice online of a payment due. Found out that after Medicare paid, BSW did not bill my secondary insurance. Wasted time out of my day to bring this to call BSW to attempt to get this corrected. Still waiting to hear back. My two insurance always pay 100% of my bill in the past and my insurance has not changed in the nine years. I recommend that if you have any other options for medical service, go there rather than BSW....I did speak with one of your reps in the billing department and she sent the amount that has not been billed to my secondary insurance to be reviewed and filed with my secondary insurance.

Went to ER at 2:30, it took 4 hours to be seen by a DR. Then I was admitted and laid in a bed in the hallway for hours with no way to call nurse. Very poor care. I’m never coming back to BSW.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my Wife and I's experience here during the birthing process. The classes they offer beforehand were free and excellent sources of information. The instructors are nurses that absolutely love what they do and enjoy answering questions. The delivery process was very smooth. At labor and delivery, Katy V was the first nurse we interacted with in triage and she was incredible. She was very patient and ensured my wife had everything she needed. Delivery was fast approaching and things were moving much quicker than anticipated. Katy took us to the delivery room and was great at managing communication with her peers. She was also very sweet with my wife which means a lot to us! Time was running out and she ensured that the first available anesthesiologist was on their way to us. Patti was very patient and communicated well during the epidural process. Kelly P was the nurse that took over for the delivery process. Her and Dr. V did a wonderful job with instructions for me and my wife. They had fun banter between each other and made a tense situation much easier to handle. Diane was the nurse that helped us in the couplet room. She was incredible too. She monitored our supplies and ensured we never ran out of anything. Diane answered all of our questions and was just super sweet to talk to and have around. It was a great experience and I definitely recommend having a baby delivered here!

I am a retired veteran and was sent to this hospital for medical problems by the VA. This hospital is very professional, caring and helpful, my care team was absolutely the best and was ontop of everything. I am also very impressed with the food. I want to send a special thanks to everyone.

Went to the medical center for an ultrasound. Check in process was smooth and quick. Reps are friendly and professional. I was called back to radiology very soon and a tech took me to a room for the exam. Bri was nice and professional. Exam took less than 15 minutes and she gave me directions to the lab. Couldn’t ask for better experience. I know the emphasis today is treating the patient like a customer and providing good customer service. As a retired nurse, I don’t want to feel like a customer, I want to feel like a patient with needs and concerns. That’s what I got this visit. I hope you look at this process and use it throughout your organization. You will have less complaints, and better outcomes. Patients like both and so does joint commission.

Worst experience ever i was brought in by ambulance and the EMT staff were great upon asking me thousands of questions which I wasn't fully aware of but any how once I arrived I had lots of test done due to falling unconscious and had a head concussion so I was out I wasn't fully aware of what was going on so I finally get discharged after 4 hours by a nurse being that I wasn't feeling well yet and obviously the doctor couldn't come and explain anything to me due to attending another patient well apparently everything came back normal nothing was wrong with me mind you I fell unconscious twice but was told to download the portal app to see information on visit so I did download the portal after 2 days when I was feeling somewhat better and alot of my lab work were high remember everything was normal nothing was wrong with me I was so angry on how I had to educate myself on understanding my results and alot of my lab work were abnormal even my EKG was abnormal I was very upset on how I was just sent home like nothing so I made a doctor's appointment and she took the time to explain everything that was done in the ER and explained my lab results to me because the ER couldn't do their job I will never choose this hospital again think God im still alive to be able to submit this review

Amazing medical staff & doctors for the most part. Love the app for the easy accessibility of test results, medical records & contact with doctor’s offices. Have some issues with medical staff not communicating with each other on patients care, not calling patient when scheduling of appointments have changed etc. but for the most part they care.
However, hospital management, Billing is uncaring & heartless especially the manager of patient relations & his staff are completely incompetent. They have no idea what patient relations means. The manger harassed & threatened me without ever speaking to me about the situation. Upper Management has completely ignored every request I’ve ever made to speak with them. I’ve only spoken to lower management nothing is done and everything is inconsistent when told to upper management. I’m on SSI disability and pay what I can on my bill every month. But they have harassed me for not paying them what they feel should be paid monthly. I’ve applied multiple times for financial assistance but been denied. My insurance pays them thousands of dollars but they harass me & treat me like nothing is being paid. I got told by billing department that my payment is insufficient so they will send my bill to collections. Even though I make a payment every month. They now refuse to allow me to go on a payment plan at all and want all payments up front. I guess they expect people to go without eating to pay a hospital bill. I would completely understand if I wasn’t paying them anything and not trying to take care of my bills. But that’s not the case at all. The hospital only cares about greed not patients

Excellent care by everyone from doctors to nurses to housekeepers to nutrition staff. Appreciate all the hands on approach to providing exceptional care. My mom is alive today because of the outstanding expertise of Baylor Scott & White. Highly recommend.
