Many issues with house from broken AC, (yes the filter was always changed regularly), random electrical outages, broken ice machine, broken washer, random flooding the list goes on. The property will blame you even though there are so many safety hazards and quality issues. Not to mention even the Renters from Aggieland Properties will be rude in the texts to their tenants even when you have been very friendly and nice. I’ve lived in college station for 6 years and have never had an experience like this. Trust me and the other college girls I live with and do not rent here!

I had worked with Aggieland Properties looking for rentals when I met Jamie Johnson and immediately decided she needed to be our realtor when buying a home. We bonded over our love for our dogs. She is always on time, always professional, has talked things through with me, made me feel good about my decisions, and above all else I value her honesty and integrity. When I tell you she has the patience of a Saint, believe it! If there is a property I want to look at, she's on it and has fit me in to weekends and holidays and has never once complained. I value her as a realtor and person and Aggieland Properties is at the top of my list of rental/buying agencies. We've known a couple of bad rental agencies and this just isn't one of them!

This is the type of property that Jamie and Aggieland Properties think are “ready to show”. Very disappointed that they don’t take the time to do research on the subpar properties they’re trying to pawn off on people.
Even more disappointed with their rude and aggressive behavior. I’ve asked for a manager, and they have refused to speak in person, or even give me a phone call about my concerns. Look for yourself, and ask if that property looks ready?
Jamie Johnson is easily the rudest and least professional of any realtor I’ve dealt with.

I am giving two stars because they have managed to fix minor issues (the bare minimum). I am a college student living in a property that is “managed” by this company. All I can say is if you want to live somewhere where you have to fix most of the things that previous tenants damaged then I guess choose them or if you want a management group that is involved and actually does their job then don’t chose this company. Prior to move in day we were told that the house would be professionally clean prior to us arriving at the property, which it was not. The two weeks they had between the previous tenants to when my roommate and I moved in, was supposed to be used to fix anything that was damaged on the property, cleaning, etc. Upon arrival, like I said the house was dirty and it didn’t seem like anyone had been in there to fix anything. There was broken blinds, chipped paint, a massive hole in the wall at the bottom of the stairs (it looks like someone shoved their mattress down the stairs and just let it ram into the wall), broken window screens and much more. When sent in a maintenance meld for each issue, half of them were cancelled because “the owner didn’t want to fix it” or some of the issues were caused by “the house shifting” (aka the massive hole in the wall at the bottom of the stairs). Recently I put in a meld to have our door fixed that leads out to the garage because part of the weather stripping that goes around the door is missing and the door has began to not close unless you tug on it and wait to hear the click sound to know it’s actually closed. Once again this was cancelled because it was due to “the house shifting”. I understand that the settlement on houses shift, it’s basic common knowledge to most, but for as much as my roommate and I pay in rent I would expect things to be fixed. My roommate and I have taken the liberty of fixing as much things as we can on our own, but something’s we aren’t able to do. Texas has hot summers and I would like to have the door fixed so our A/C isn’t running overtime and costing us more money. Our house is in better condition now than it was when we first arrived on move in day. It’s just disappointing because we were promised that they were a hands on management company and were eager to get us to sign (along with getting our deposits), just to find out it was a bunch of empty promises. This company needs to do better.

Gracie Grimes has been an absolute JOY to work with! I told her what I was needing/wanting and sent her the properties I’ve found on my own. She went through and booked showings for me based on my schedule and sent me multiple other properties that she went out and found for me! She’s been so helpful, kept me updated with the statuses of all the properties, has responded to all of my calls, emails and texts and has been going above and beyond to find exactly what I’m looking for! She’s so sweet, timely , professional and just a great person! Thank you Gracie!

Afterthought:
I'M So glad I read 4 of the recent BAD reviews by prior customers (see below) to considering leasing from this group. So considering their lack of follow through and my negative opinion of their sevice, they did me a total favor I guess. Thank you

4. Steve G,
My original review: after looking Ata couple of their properties I understand.
Real Estate Agencies these days (atleast the last 5-7yrs) have declined in service and knowledge.
I just need to mention I'm currently in the market looking for a rental and I barely get much effort. It's more like a care less attitude or very little response attitude, even get roadblock to my inquiries not the "can do spirit and efforts" I would expect if someone is marketing my property through a Real Estate company. That's trusting an agency with a very valuable commodity. Wasting, delaying or ignoring serious customer inquiries to rent a rental unit 1 month 2, or 3 is an expensive endeavor. What a true disservice to your clients and their trust in you (especially the lessors that sign on with you). I'm truly mesmerized at the lack of efforts in general that agents want to do once they get a listing (across the country for rental or purchase options with a licensed Realtors).
This group is a touch above average by making some small contact or response but that's not saying much as they're in a very negative group of occupations/agencies overall.
Nonetheless I just notice the lack of efforts or follow up. Then after reading a couple of the reviews for lease's Im so glad and won't choose to work with them, period.
Everything in life these days is totally off kilt, I guess this sad fact is just a sign of the times
Still, I just feel compelled to say a
Something at this point. You may really want to read reviews, BBB, even check out complaints against any company you choose.
Caveat Emptor...Buyers Beware.

Jamie helped us secure our dream home and since then the management staff has been extremely helpful, Katie has a solution for anything.

Do Not Lease through this agency. My daughter and her roommates did for two years. We touched up the paint and had the house professionally cleaned when they moved out. The house looked brand new. All of them were expecting a full refund! After a month of move out they receive a bill for 4000.00 stating the yard had to be replaced! What?? In their lease agreement it stated the owner was responsible for yard maintenance. My daughter has emailed them three times asking for pictures of "yard replacement" and each time gets some automatic response back and they will not respond and keeping their deposit. Very unprofessional. I would highly discourage this property management.

Stay away from any properties they are advertised by this company and a few others on the gateway villas or on Forest Dr. near the Home Depot off of university. There is a waste water plant and the whole place smells like fecal matter 24/7 inside and outside the house. They will not warn you ahead of time and will not lower rents cause of it. It gets into your car, your clothes
