For the second time in a row we have had problems with this pharmacy. We called ahead and were told the prescriptions would be ready in one hour. We waited the hour and came to the pharmacy. Prescriptions were not ready. We were given a beeper and asked to wait. After 15 minutes we were called back. The prescriptions still were not ready. We waited longer and received a text that stated that the medicine was filled and ready for pickup. When we checked, it was not ready. After another 20-30 or so minutes(and three more trips through the line) the medicine was ready.The people working here are very sweet and understanding, but this pharmacy is so poorly organized that it is hard to work with them. Sometimes they seem to not even know which medications they have and which they do not have. We have had to move a prescription to another pharmacy after waiting an hour for them to fill it. I understand that this is the only choice for a pharmacy within 30 minutes, but we will not be coming back here anymore. It is worth the extra trip to have a reliable pharmacy.

The store is small but okay for a small town. The pharmacy is ridiculously inefficient and definitely not customer service oriented. The lines are always long and service is extremely slow. Fortunately for them, which also means unfortunately for the community they are the only pharmacy in the area. The only choice is them or drive 20-30 minutes.

The service is disgusting, the employees don't know anything, they don't even know where the medicines are, they close before the time they have to close, I don't recommend this pharmacy at all .

Good location. Friendly employees. Fair prices. Fair selection of foods. Also has gas station that priced simular to station nearby. Management cares for their customers and quality products.

I recently bought a months worth of cancer medicine for my wife here at Brookshire's pharmacy, it cost $124.86. Before the next refill I discovered that I could go to any HEB pharmacy and get the very same (not generic) medication for $18.24.The bottom line is simple, a small town grocery store (or pharmacy) does not sell quality, they sell convenience, that's why we endure Walmart. Unfortunately for Brookshire Brothers this was over the top (B.S.) and I don't shop there at all now, whatever it takes, I'll go elsewhere. If they just screwed me on food then it's to be expected but making me drive 100 mile round trip to avoid their pharmaceutical strangle hold on this community shows what Brookshire Brothers is really all about.

I am SOOOOOOOOOOO DISAPPOINTED in BB lately!!!!! I bought some steaks to grill last weekend and they were SOOPER expensive AND SOOPER THIN!!!!!! I'll be buying meats at WALLY-World or ANYWHERE else until they get their meats department straightened OUT!!! I have noticed a steady decline in their meat selections since September 2019 but I've had enough of this B******* to where I've needed to do a review!!!

Sometimes it's tacky or nothing. Very limited stock. Poor selection of fruits, vegetables, seafood. Meat dept is ok but very basic. Let's face facts, it's the only game in this town. Prices are excessively high and yours would be to if you had a monopoly. So why 3 stars? Best darn fried chicken I've ever eaten cooked in that deli. Kinda famous for their fried chicken!

This is a very basic country grocery store, with limited selections. They sell parade brand at del Monte prices. The veggies are usually, buy and use today, or they rot! The meat counter is clean, but usually SO close to the "out" date, I won't buy them. I've bought hot dogs, and had half a pak of them green! I feel taken advantage of, due to the high costs and low quality, and you are the only one in town. I'm calling Scot, at H.E.B. To see if he will put a pantry here. I will go to Livingston to buy my food. Brookshire brothers, you COULD do better! Shame on you!
