“An awesome hardware store with a great variety of useful products. I can usually park close to the front door. The staff is usually friendly and helpful. There is also a good selection of lumber out back.”

“If you can't find it at Gerard's, you won't be able to find ithis general store been in the neighborhood for evil and I pray that I'll be longer-term cause they serve the public well.”

“Black Friday Weekend 2023 - Went Saturday mid-afternoon which fortunately wasn't overwhelmed with people. My mother hadn't been since it opened in Lake Jackson, so we decided to go. She found some items she needed to replace and was amazed at the prices... especially batteries. And I always find something I need - I had forgotten that I wanted and was excited to get the 18" magnetic tool bars at Black Friday prices...one for me and one for a friend who needs to organize or at least find his basic tools! HF has the best prices and a wide selection for tool, garage and home organization. Great prices and quality products, friendly and helpful staff, clean and organized store. Check their website for coupons, discounts and free gifts (sometimes no purchase required) before you go. Happy holidays!”

“Friendly and helpful staff, liked how everyone is treated with the same level of attention whether it's a large company or an individual grabbing just one tool.”

“My favorite lumber and hardware store. Many in-store specials. Lots of employees are educated enough to be of real help. Discount for veterans. and returns are easily made. Because i am not a DIY guy I rely on service and honesty plus building help and instructions. All of that adds up to a value for dollars spent.”

“My wife saw a night light built into a receptacle cover plate in the recent McCoy's brochure. I stopped in to buy some and a wonderful employee at the front register had never seen this device so she contacted a manager who took me right to them. I love "easy" shopping.”

“Yesterday I went to Home Depot with a friend. She was looking for a portable air conditioner. Right away Jose came up to us and helped us. Then he said he would get the cart to hold the unit. He walked us to the checkout, asked if we wanted help to our car . He stayed with us during the whole transaction. I wish everyone was that helpful. It was a great experience at Home Depot yesterday!”

“It's honestly my #2 spot for home improvement stores only because it's a little trickier to get to but not much and #2 only by a hair. The store offers most everything all home improvement stores do and lots of it so your variety is definitely available. They have about the same # of cashiers also but also have self check which I, for one, have no problem with. The only small issue I have is that you enter at one end of the store and the checkout stands seem like they're way at the other end of the store. Ive never quite understood the need for that much distance separating the 2. If there was tons of traffic, maybe but even in planting season its never that bad. Maybe theres a very good reason, who knows. While I was hoofing it down to the check out I wS still on the lookout for the household cleaner aisle, stopping every few feet to look for the signs listing each aisles content while also peering diwn Isle and passed a griup of maybe 4 employees standing altogether chatting. Now any other time I probably wouldn't have thought twice about it except by the time I got through reading the aisle sign and peering around them it was pretty apparent (or should've been )that an offer of "Can I help you find something?" would've been really appreciated. Alas I went home without my household cleaners because I was tired from my trek through to the other end of the store to self check my handful of batteries. Store was super clean though. Parking plentiful.”
