“Thank you Cecil for a wonderful time while we were in your store. Herd Wear is one of those roadside gems that often gets overlooked and passed by. I'm so glad we took the time to make the stop! The store is warm, inviting and, pretty much, all things Bison. From socks, hat's, jewelry, shoes, clothing, artwork etc. is made from, or, pertains to, you guessed it, the mighty Bison.Unfortunately, the store, in it's current form, is closing in July. As Cecil explained, the building was purchased by the Texas Historical Society, and will become part of the Goodnight Ranch. After a remodel, it will reopen as part of the ranch museum, but, will have a gift shop that will fortunately still carry some of the quality products that Herd Wear has become known for!So, if you're ever passing by Goodnight Texas, the town not the band, (there's a story there that Cecil will share with you), be sure to make the stop.
