Charming old fashioned sweet shop, restaurant and store. Mom and pop country store with handmade candy, gifts and treats.The treats were delicious! Shout out to the caramel popcorn and caramels! Yum!!!
Parking: Gravel parking lot, but free and fairly good size
Kid-friendliness: A lot to look at and plenty of kid friendly sweet treats, sandwiches, and salads to choose from.

We have been driving back and forth between Dallas and Denver for over 20 years and have just discovered this place! The deli was closed but we were still able to grab a pre-made pimento cheese sandwich. The store does have a huge variety of pecans and pecan-based treats, but also quality home decor/gift/clothing items.

Great little place to stop. Deli food is really good and the store is filled with pecan delicacies, Texas souvenirs and gift ideas.

One of my favorite places! The best pecan variety from normal, to amaretto chocolate, toffee etc. Amazing desserts and scone variety! And while you wait for your delicious food you can shop. I drive 13 miles for the deli and atmosphere!

*edit*The deli is delicious, the only downfall is they are painfully slow making the food. Make sure you have the time to wait because otherwise you’ll be stuck. Today I was on my way to wichita falls and stopped by for breakfast, I called when I was 15 mins from Valley Pecans and placed my order to go and when I got there they still hadn’t started on my food because there was a group of 6 before me. 45 mins later, I finally got my food. I’m sorry but that’s ridiculous.Love stopping here for breakfast or lunch! The breakfast croissant is to die and that goes for the buttermilk pie as well.The store part is so cute and I always spend way too much ? the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Always a great stop on my way!

Delicious fresh pecans and to top it off, a really great blackberry jam with jalapenos. That was a hit on my camping trip with all my friends. Now I have to come back through town to get more!

We stop here every time we go through on our way to Colorado. Great pecans and chocolate covered pecans. Wonderful fudge. Nice place to walk the dog and they even have lunch items. It wasn’t time for lunch this visit. There is room for two or three RVs to park.

I stop here every time I drive through and pick up some nic nacs and food. Service is great, the food is fresh and this was first try at buttermilk pie! It was sublime ❤️❤️

We've stopped here several times in the past. Got my favorite cap here - says "That's a terrible idea! I'm in!"Deli was closed this time. Food options when Deli is closed are limited but bathrooms are always clean.

Stopped to stock up on Texas pecans and stayed for lunch. This gift shop has a delightful deli with freshly made soups salads and sandwiches. Our group had Pastrami on Rye, Chicken Caprese Panini, and homemade Pimento Cheese on thick white bread. Very fresh and a nice alternative to the typical road trip restaurants (McD's, Arby's, Burger King, Godfather's) you see scattered throughout the small towns in TX.

I loved this shop! I've driven past here hundreds of times and never never stopped until this weekend. Now I know I could have picked up all kinds of last minute gifts or wine or pie or cookies and snacks! I ended up shopping and buying several things. I'm glad I stopped.

Wonderful stop on 287 that we regularly hit to stock up on pecans. Was a little disappointed by the higher prices (from last year). I would have bought more stuff if things were a couple dollars less, honestly. Tough balance to strike for any business these days no doubt. Great pecans!
