Referred to Hill's Motor by an employee at O'Reilly Auto Parts when the battery light came on a long drive back to Houston from Amarillo. Mechanic at Hill's checked the Jeep out and couldn't find anything wrong. They let the engine run for about 30 minutes. When it was time to get back on the road we asked, "How much do we owe you?" to which he replied, "Give me whatever you want."
I'm reading it's a family owned business with great reviews. Seems clear that the great reviews are accurate. They could've charged us a lot or could've fabricated a whole host of fake repairs, but they didn't. They were honest and did the right thing. I highly recommend Hill's Motor in Childress, Tx.

On the way home to Dallas from Colorado, our van was side-swiped by a semi on Hwy 287, and ended up totaled in the median ditch. The police called Jeremy, and he came to tow the van as well as give my wife, my dog, and I a ride into Childress. He was kind enough to loan us a truck to go get a replacement vehicle to load up our belongings and continue the trip home. His act of kindness was just what we needed being in the bind we were in. Thanks to Hills Motors Towing!

Hill’s Motor Towing came to our rescue when we were stranded in the middle of nowhere in Texas for over 5 hours with our truck and RV. After exhausting our options and finding no help from our insurance, Hill’s was the only company willing to assist us.
Despite the hefty cost of over $1200 (uncovered by insurance), Hill’s Motor Towing proved invaluable. Their prompt response and willingness to tackle our unique situation were commendable. The driver who came to our aid was kind and accommodating; due to limited space, I had to ride in the truck bed, but he ensured I was comfortable and safe throughout the journey.
Upon arrival at our destination, a torrential downpour greeted us, soaking both the driver and my husband. Despite the adverse weather conditions, the driver maintained professionalism and didn't complain about getting wet.
While the cost was significant and unexpected, the peace of mind provided by Hill’s Motor Towing’s service was priceless. Their reliability and dedication in a challenging situation underscore their commitment to customer satisfaction

Stopped here on a Saturday afternoon on our way to Huntsville TX with an ailing AC system. The shop was closed, but the owner was there, and did a quick diagnosis. Everything checked out, and he gave us some tips on what to do if we had problems again. No charge! (Advantage of dealing with the owner, who was just hanging out monitoring their towing service). Knowledgeable and friendly, can't recommend this place highly enough!

Stopped in for some electrical work driving across country. After decussations about my Vehical and what it was doing they inspected the Vehical , reset codes and told us they were confident it would make it to destination. After a 10 hour drive we were having issues again related to the same issues. We went to a Firestone where they ran a electric diagnostic on the Vehical and found two issues. One of the issues I knew about and the other i did not, Alternator over voltage. They changed our alt and we made it to our Destination. Hills were nice and friendly just not able to help us much with our issues. I do appreciate them dropping things to try to help us.

I got stranded in Childress last night. Hill motors came to help me. They towed my van and fixed it 1st thing this morning. Didn't charge enough!!@ they are fabulous. Trust Hill motors!!!!!!!

Wow! Best customer service, towing and auto repair service ever. I can’t say enough good things about the owner Jeremy and his team at Hill Motor in Childress, Texas. My husband and I were traveling back home to East Texas after a visit in Borger, Texas and our water pump went out on our Jeep Grand Cherokee. We were in between small towns and didn’t know who to call that could help us as we sat on the side of the road. The next town up was Childress, Texas and I googled car dealerships and auto repair and luckily Hill Motor came up first. I called and spoke with Jeremy and found out not only could they repair our SUV but they also have a Towing service. The tow truck was a little further out so Jeremy drove 25 minutes to pick us up where we didn’t have to sit on the side of the road much longer. He took us back to his repair shop where we could stay until the tow was completed. They diagnosed our issue and made all the repairs very quickly for us so we could get back on the road home. Please, if you are ever in the area of Childress, Texas and need a tow or auto repair, call Hill Motor and you will not be disappointed.

Hill's Motors was the towing company called by AAA for us when we broke down and needed a tow and repair. We were never in better hands. They towed truck and travel trailer at the same time. I explained our situation and not only did he take our truck in for service but, as we were staying in our trailer, genorously offered us a place to park it till while the repair was done. Our turbo went out. With the parts located and repair completed in a little over a day we were on our way. The whole experience with them from tow to getting back on the road was beyond my expectations. A+++

While on a long road trip, I had an unexpected car issue come up as I was driving through Childress. The guys at Hills Motors couldn't have been nicer. They got me right in to inspect my Jeep, fixed the issue and had me on my way. In addition to their professionalism, integrity and kindness, their waiting lounge was clean and comfortable as well. When my insurance company was unwilling to get me a tow while I was stranded on the highway with 4 children, this company dropped everything and went above and beyond! Towed the vehicle and fixed the issue and had us on the road in a few short hours! Highly recommend! Honest and very reliable.

Dusty gave us a tow to Amarillo, not easy with our 24 foot vehicle but they did a great job. The Hill's team gave a tip on where to go for repairs and we were back on the road in little time. Highly recommend these guys, great service!!
