“Referred to Hill's Motor by an employee at O'Reilly Auto Parts when the battery light came on a long drive back to Houston from Amarillo. Mechanic at Hill's checked the Jeep out and couldn't find anything wrong. They let the engine run for about 30 minutes. When it was time to get back on the road we asked, "How much do we owe you?" to which he replied, "Give me whatever you want."

I'm reading it's a family owned business with great reviews. Seems clear that the great reviews are accurate. They could've charged us a lot or could've fabricated a whole host of fake repairs, but they didn't. They were honest and did the right thing. I highly recommend Hill's Motor in Childress, Tx.”

“Stopped in on my way across the country when I had a fuel injector fail in my 4runner. They didn't have the part I needed, but they reached out to a local mechanic who had just worked on a similar 4runner and really went out of their way to help me out. It was so nice to experience this level of humanity that is so rare anymore.”

“Yesterday we had a blow out like 5 mins out from Childress. We called JR and even though he was in church (sorry for that interruption again), he made sure to have someone help us! We were able to get towed to the Walmart parking lot, and his son and another sweet man were able to help us. “We stopped in Childress for an overnight stay on our way home to Baton Rouge from Colorado. While backing our fifth wheel into a site at Childress Fair Park, the corner of the trailer nose contacted the edge of the rear glass of the truck causing the tempered glass to explode-shatter.I found Childress glass on Google and called them immediately. They searched nation wide and found a replacement that could be delivered in two-three days. After sealing up the rear window, we relocated to J &S RV Ranch, so that we would have sewer and water connections. Childress Glass kept me informed of the UPS tracking status, called me when the glass arrived, drove me back to the camper while they did the work and picked me up when it was finished.The installation is clean and they removed/cleaned up the shattered glass ‘pebbles’ that were EVERYWHERE! They also worked smoothly with my insurance provider which also made the whole ‘mishap’ a lot more bearable.The shop is very impressive; huge, well lit and CLEAN.
