I recently purchased a box truck at one of Ryder dealership. The unit number is 313236.When I bought the unit, Ryder gave me two tickets of PM.First time I took the truck to ryder Chanelview for repairs and PM, the manager Cliton told me that Ryder was going only to cover the PM and would have to pay for additional repairs. This was on October 21 2022. My company pays $2,600 for additional repairs. October 27, Ryder called me and advised that the truck were ready for pick up. I picked the truck on Friday October 28. Monday November 1, I sent the truck on the road from Houston y to California. Thursday November 4, while the driver was driving, on highway 5 to Bakersfield, the engine broke down. I towed to truck to nearest shop. Mechanic advised that there was not enough oil in the engine that caused the problem. I contacted Ryder to explain the situation on November 4. November 7 around 1200, Ryder called me and advised they were going to reimburse $540 for PM not done.Although, they put an oil change sticker on my front Glace to show that oil was change, they did not do it.In conclusion never trust Ryder or buy any unit from them.My case is not over yet. Will keep you updated

They didn't fix the original problem (brake and safety issues)with the truck but hey they did fix other stuff that wasn't even causing and issues! The truck had no signs of any of the issues of the stuff they did replace (thousands of dollars later)Take this how you want toJust stay awayIt's really hard to find a honest mechanics

Normal Ryder. Not much gets done here. Unmanned offices. Can't get into parking lot. Shop doors locked. Went to PU a lease unit. Junk as usual. Left it there. Can't put our drivers in trashed equipment.

I Recently purchased a vehicle from Ryder. The worst experience I have had. Horrible customer service, Horrible accommodations, horrible inventory, all around bad. May 25, 2021 I purchased the vehicle cash with a warranty(Not worth the money) the unit 366284 had no charge. The technician said the unit was ryder ready but wouldn't hold a charge. Charged it for a FEW HOURS! Although it was hesitant on the start, it cranked. Less than 20 miles from purchase the truck derated. I called the sales rep from Ryder immediately & was told to use my insurance,( even though it has been less than 48 hours and is Ryders problem). I paid out of pocket for both issues and proceeded to request an accommodation for the repairs. Complete run around. I've called from bottom to top & have not heard back from Ryder. I call everyday & im told I will be reached 24-48 hours. It's June 21, 2021. Never received a phone call email or any form of communication on the situation. I don't recommend Ryder to any small business or any minority businesses. Lease the trucks is my only recommendation and go to Ryder as last resort.

The service department went way out of there way to get my truck fixed and got me back in service staying late to do it. Great job
